Maybeeeeee You'll think of meeeeee

When you put out some DLC Bethesda, what I want is some more music :sadvaultboy: The atmosphere was amazing in Fallout 3 with either stations, good ol American music or the old music that played whilst going through a dark cave or wandering the wastes.

Unfortunately Bethesda for some reason have not made the music or radios in this game great as they should be, such a shame when atmosphere is surely one of the most important parts of Fallout...

My suggestion is give us more radio stations which plays music, or perhaps a new pick up in CDs which are put into your Pip-Boy, there could be lots and come about from a DLC quest....

I think the background music (not the radios) is fantastic in this game.

Also, Obsidian made this game, Bethesda just published it i believe? could be wrong though.

I really do like the ambiance and background music in New Vegas, however I would like some more radio music.

I'm still convinced that there is some bug w/ the song selection in New Vegas for the radio.

Here is a pic of the songs I extracted from the sound BSA

Has anyone heard Ride of the Valkyries in their game?

Maybe there is some radio station I haven't found yet in game, but I think there is some kind of bug here.

I agree. More music! My radio is constantly playing, and I'm getting a little tired of the same songs over and over again :sadvaultboy:

I'm playing on PC and downloaded via Steam. The radio seems to work fine for me and I love the choices of songs. Compared to FO3 where I seldom had the radio on, except to check for news I made, I'm leaving this on almost all the time.

Wayne Newton is a DJ! He's Mr. New Vegas. If you don't understand how cool that is then you've missed the joke.

Why have you reserved a second post for this?

1. The music is PERFECT.
2. There just isn't enough of it.
3. I've never heard Wayne Newton before, but he sounds like a sleazy lounge slinger and all the fake love he sends out on the airwaves makes me want to find his radio station and bust out the hobo knife! HAHA!

Ride of the Valkyries, at least, is in the game where it's supposed to be.
Spoiler
It's the song that plays while the rockets are taking off at the end of "Come Fly With Me" at the REPCONN Factory.

Actually I like the ambient music a lot more in this compared to Fallout 3. If you listen closely you can hear a lot of the music from Fallout 1 & 2 (I know the music when you are at the Cathedral is played often as well as the music that plays at Navarro). But I agree that the radio should have some more music.
