A while ago a dread tragedy befell upon me: my Morrowind CD got left under some heavier and sturdier movables as a result of personal stupidity. Now it's full of little scratches and, in places, some mysterious goo whose origins I dare not speculate about. I don't dare to put it in the drive, lest something horrible happen.

I'm considering a no-cd patch (yes, it is legal if you own the original), but problem is, I don't know if it would work with Morrowind Code Patch (and other similar mods). IIRC, MCP messes with the exe, as seen in the main menu (version number replaced by "MCA"). Would I have to reinstall MCP or the game? Will it work at all? Thanks in advance!
