Mechwarrior series live stream

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:43 pm

I just recently started a live stream of the Mechwarrior series on Livestream.com. I'm currently playing Mechwarrior 2 and am engaged in the Clan Wolf campaign. In this stream, I try to take suggestions from players on what to do, and a lot of the folks in the chat have fun discussing the series and other mech games. If you're interested in Mechwarrior, Battletech, or just want to watch some robots get blown up, feel free to drop in and watch me play. I am going to start the stream up in just a few minutes when I get enough viewers.

[note] I only read the chat between missions, so if anyone is being vulgar or trolling, then I am NOT responsible for it. Everyone has been nice so far, so please keep with that trend. I do have the capability to ban you, so lets all play nice, okay?

Are you thinking of getting a mic or something? Its always more interesting when you've got a narrator.

And by a "narrator" you mean "Oh look it's some Jenners, let's blast the... oh god that's a Warhawk... mommy!" :P

Go Go Orzorn!
Anything to spice my long days next to tablet is welcome. And that being MechWarrior or anything battletech related is awesome!.

Btw, we should play MechWarrior/MegaMek more often. And resurrect that Thread and have more Mech-talk there as well. :)

Alright guys, post in here again if you'd be interested in watching me tonight. I've got some free time (for once. Midterms are this week, ugh).

So make yourself known, and if ya'll are up for it I'll start the stream up.

Actually, the first Warhawk (or Dire Wolf, they look a lot alike in game) I saw, I one shot it with my AC/10. Ha! That's what they get for having such huge canopies to crit.

The AI in Mechwarrior 2...well...its lacking. Very lacking.

A one armed, brainless monkey could play better than the AI in that game. Except, for some reason, the damn Riflemen. Those bastards HURT. Out of every mission, the most that I die on are due to the Rifleman.

It's called battle tech were I use to live these were some fun times yes the AI was lacking and really easy, But remember being a mercenary liberating planets was fun even though a few system limitations set back the game I would totally play this game right about now but I am no in the mood of long and complicated DOS-BOX scripts.

Actually, there were no long scripts involved. I can run the game with 5 lines total, and the only reason its that long is because the directory I have my mechwarrior 2 in is a deeper directory.

Today seems like a great day to try this again. Nice Friday afternoon, no one in the house to get mad at me for eating up bandwidth, and quite a few members are on. Lets say we try this out?
