Medieval Europe 2

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 10:03 pm

Okay so my idea is to do what that guy MTM gave up on. Do all of Medieval Europe around 1300 in a very realistic way. Although a bit strange he had great ideas and skills :ooo:
I'm good at modding, modeling, texturing, scripting and CS jobs. If any of you want to help it'll be a pleasure to have you in the official Medieval Europe Team!

Now I really don?t want to be unfair. So I place my words very carefully, and I?m deeply sorry if I?m wrong in my assumptions.

But I?m going to say out loud how this looks to me, as a warning for other people to tread carefully. Again, I?m sorry if I?m wrong.

BUT:

It light of the facts shown this far, it seems MTM was a "professional" hoax modder. He announces projects, draws attention, and fools people into doing work for him for a project that doesn?t exist.

You know, a big time loser who takes pleasure out of teasing people on the net.

So after all this was pointed out, YOU appear out of nowhere, JUST JOINED, and comment in his project?s thread along the lines "Awesome, I want to help you this project seems great!". Like you never noticed anything that was just said before that.

And now you, JUST JOINED, with "great experience in everything in modding" which is something almost no one has, announce to carry on this mighty project, like a god-sent person to save people?s hopes and dreams that went downhil when they realised they had been fooled.

So....if you are not MTM with a new nickname, you must admit people will have hard time buying into this. You are a victim of circumstances and I?m sorry. Hopefully your project takes off, but you?ll 99% likely will not get any help until you have solid proof of progress. Solid.

Snip!

Yep, couldn't have said it better myself.
When I saw the Joined Date and the post itself (Which ressembles a lot to the very first post MTM did on the first Medieval Europe thread.

Then again, we can be wrong. Since this new user posted in the previous thread...

I'll still have my doubts. Highly placed doubts. ;)

No doubt for me that we have to do it with the same person. Everybody who calls himself "good at modding, modeling, texturing, scripting and CS jobs" knows, that a project like that is impossible to do. As long as he get attention in his threads he will go on, again and again and again. Therefore: enough said, going on now to more realistic threads.

I'd say, play Mount & Blade. Now that's a neat game :)

I?m also sorry if I?m wrong in my assumptions, but I 100% agree with Skycaptain.
I find it a bit strange that you totally new and claims that you have high skills in modding , and also that you praises how talented MTM was.

I won't speculate more about who Neat Clown is, but I wanted to highlight chanur's statement.
Everybody who calls himself "good at modding, modeling, texturing, scripting and CS jobs" knows, that a project like that is impossible to do.

This is just so true. I tried to say this in the first MTM mediaval thread, but was (of course) ignored. Doing medieval Europe in a realistic way (or at all) is an enormous task. Look how much work has been put into Elseweyr or Tamriel Rebuilt projects or other big, new-land mods and compare, and you'll find that ever completing such a mod not realistic at all.

If you are in fact MTM trying another pathetic hoax, .

I'd get rid of this since it avoids forum censorship.

On that note, I'm reporting this since I don't think that it is going to go anywhere for the time being.
