R.I.P. Meeko

Post » Wed Jan 22, 2014 6:11 pm

Meeko has died today, due to my own Staff of Fireballs.

I was doing the Legend of Galdur quest and was fighting them a second time in ghost form. My staff of fireballs is super strong, so I was just using to take chunks out of their health or otherwise I was going to get nowhere very quickly, but dead.

I restored my save, but Meeko died again. So I just gave up.

Now Enesia is all alone again. *cries*

Gotta go hire some meat shield now.

My meeko sent me a letter from space, he told me it's nice up there.

(A giant hit him and poof! he was gone)

As much as I'd love to, I never take Meeko out of the house; I worry too much about his safety :\

May Meeko rest in peace. ;)

M'aiq always has Meeko at his house, since he always make his children keep Meeko as a household pet.

I wanted to keep the dog because Enesia is just an archeologist. All I have done is do all the legends in books and exploring caves. Just sometimes they are connected to other quest and this game is so glitchy I don't want to do something to ruin them.

Any other dogs I can get?

I put Meeko somewhere nice and buried him. I even leave him flowers now.

No. Although there might be a console command to name them, there was in Oblivion.

And like all dogs in the game, they bark a lot, although less than they used to. There is a mod that makes dogs much quieter to have around, if your on PC.

I just wish that they took inspiration from Fable 3.

The dog only barks where there are enemies or finds treasure. Otherwise stay quiet.

He's usually found on the road near it. Southwest maybe?

Meeko sit's at home with "stray dog" and pet skeever keeping Blaise, lucia, Lydia, Llewellyn, Rayya and Gunjar company. ( I guess I shouldn't forget the horse, cow and chickens. ) Vorstag and Cara are home as much as they can be with their other duties.

Poor Meeko :(
Being an animal-lover, I always hate it when animal followers die in games/books/movies.
Thanks to mods, in my game Meeko is currently hanging around the Companions in Jorrvaskr. He barks at them and glare at him and say "stupid dog". I always chastise them when that happens, even if they can't hear me.
