Why not mods copy the all the developer's actual posts from the previous threads to the beginning of the current thread as the first, second, ... posts?

I think it would be better than just quoting the first two posts of the last thread.

This way we do not have to skim through the last threads to search for the posts of the developers.

@Dan Ross - Congrats on the promotion, when did it happen?

@all Devs - I'm Back. :wave:

If you worked on Fallout 3 and are working on Skyrim, are you doing the same or similar job or have you moved into a different department?

Excluding RPGs, what game type do you think would be the most fun working on? (ex. RTS, side scroller, etc.)

If this has been asked, please disregard, but a burning question for me is... Will there be calipers in Skyrim? If so, how many? :wink:

Earlier today a dev confirmed that yes, there will in fact be calipers in Skyrim. I think the official count is 34 sets.

Hey Todd! I am almost out of high school and I am looking forward to getting into the video game industry. I want to ask you some questions: How did you come up with this unique franchise, and can you give any insight on what you did you do to get into this career, even what kinds of determinations you had to get where you are? Thanks again and you are my most favorite video game developer.

Tis true, sir. If it is of any solace to you, it was also confirmed that there will be more than one hundred quests centered around said calipers. And the game will be featuring realistic caliper physics to cater to your virtual caliper using ventures.

I seriously can not wait for this! Work hard...I am really looking forward to the mountain scenery...please do a very good job, especially on making the cliffs.

Duly noted.

Did you guys ever drink real Mead? ;)

Yes! Every year at the Maryland Renaissance festival. This past year, I attempted to brew my own... It was... somewhat drinkable, but convinced me I'm better off buying the professionally fermented stuff until I can get the proper set up.

O.K., you all are in Maryland. Do you ever have team-building lunches at a local crab house with Kraft paper, butter knives, claw crackers, mallets and bibs?

I'm sorry, since we can't ask anything related to the game this is the best I could come up with. :obliviongate:

Have you ever drank straight vinegar?

My earlier post about attempting to brew my own mead covers this, I believe. :facepalm:

if it is January 25, it is cloudy outside, the number 3 had never been invented and you had fishsticks for lunch, how fast would it take the color purple to travel to Jupiter from the 8th dimension?

and really thank you sooooooooo much for announcing the next elder scrolls, for a while we were stuck in purgatory

someone try and have a better question than mine

What did the devs think of our suggestion and speculation threads? Were you snickering to yourself the whole time, or did you actually think "Wow, they're pretty observant"?

The answer to life, the universe, and everything. That pretty much shuts down this thread, then. Any questions we could ask can be answered the same way.

I was actually going to ask this in a different part of the forum but,
If you could only choose 1 magic spell to have from The Elder Scrolls which one would you pick?

Someone asked about the cliffs in Skyrim, and you even answered him (somewhat).

I would never directly ask about the game, but I just want you to know how important scenery is, and how much we enjoy scenic landscapes with mountains and lakes. We like them very much, and we would even enjoy playing in a game featuring highly detailed natural environments, lush with a vibrant and certain life below the harsh and impenetrable frost. Just saying is all...

Just reposting. :)

For the devs who have worked on more than one TES game;
- What has been the most challenging one and why?
- What was the most fun to work on?
- Which one do you personally prefer? (This in to all the devs in general. :))
