Sorry if this has been asked and I know who can't answer questions about Skyrim, but generally speaking, when creating a new game world where do you start?

That's cool to know. That you're a senior character artist/animator is also cool to know; if the GI article screenshots are anything to go by, you're doing an extraordinarily good job.

Another question for any/all devs:
Are any of you fans of the old fantasy and sword & sorcery films? (Krull, Deathstalker, The Sword and the Sorcerer, Conan, etc.) If so, which is your favourite, and has it influenced your work as a games developer?

Anyways, how much inspiration did you draw from TES Arena when you started planning for skyrim? (You don't have to answer this if you feel it would give away something you aren't ready to reveal of course.)

Ah - well you learn something new every day. Like not to think that something with "wine" in the name contains alcohol. I'll have to keep an eye open for it, thanks!

By any chance was the word 'brink' instead of 'bring' a reference to another game being made by Bethesda Softworks?

Nope - just my fingers being a little too fast. And I don't have a compiler for the forums to catch all my mistakes for me.

Is the office pumped up about the Ravens visiting the Steelers this weekend? Such a big rivalry. Should be a great game. Are sports bantered about in the office in general? Being in technology, I find some offices really get behind sports, while others seem to disregard it. Thanks.
