Skyrim... is it being worked on solely in that place we've seen in the interviews (in Washtington, I think?)?
Or do other people work on Skyrim from other Bethesda Softwork http://jobs.zenimax.com/ as well?

Han Solo

Jeez, man, have you even seen those movies? You really shouldn't make pronouncements like this until you do; you're just embarrassing yourself.

We're in Rockville, Maryland, about 20 minutes outside of DC depending on traffic. Other studios have their own stuff going on.

Yeah, pretty much already there. Tough to imagine a career I would want more than the one I have.

Have any of the developers served in the military? If so which branch?

Dear devs, I have always loved the dialogue in bethesda games, and wanted to know what your inspiration is. Is it very clinical sit round a desk and just hash it out, or is it a more natural process of a round table discussion. I love a lot of the haskil conversations in si is it just one person that comes up with the funnies or do you all throw stuff in?

Thanks for the great games :)

Tell your friends.

Damn...

(That part was a joke. "Thunderjunk" is actually a huge fan of those movies. Unfortunately for him, it's really fun to give him a hard time.)

1: ever think tod gets influenced too much when he makes a tes game? dont you think you should lock him in a small room between now and tes 6 so the evils of Tolkien and Conan don't corrupt tes?

2: when you look at the other awesome games coming out this year (portal 2,crysis 2 etc) do you think "dam we are going to have to work hard to beat these""ah, skyrim will win" or simply "with so many awesome games, i will have an empty wallet by the end of the year"

3: are you waiting for half life 2 episode 3?

4: favored genre of music?

5: like the other guy said- sausage or bacon (if you say vegetarian, i will read bacon)

I would reckon Cliffracers were an innocent 'mistake' or nuisance. The Adoring Fan however...

Question aimed at any of the Developers:
What game was in development at Bethesda Game Studio when you eventually joined them? Or were you working for Bethesda since the very beginning?

I don't know if you guys will know this, but how exactly did Elder Scrolls originate?

Did most of the ideas and setting originate from a tabletop RPG, such as GURPS or Dungeons and Dragons? If so, exactly which system was most influential in the early games?

Who is responsible for the humour ( the guys in SI, Kahjiit butt-licking jokes etc. ) and who says enough, we need to get back to being serious and keep a bit of grimness in the game?
