Metal Gear 4 is what sold me my PS3. I have... a very conflicted relationship with that series. It's simultaneously everything I love and everything I hate about video games. Brilliant and maddening all in one glorious mindjob.

But I will always get the next one.

Metal Gear 4 is a strange game. It's very short, but all its hours are of the most pure and real AWESOMENESS. Damn, the end is so incredibly epic...

Bethesda, hire Hideo Kojima!

What are you usually doing on weekends?
What are your favourite movies?
What are your favourite books?
What type of car do you drive? (If not do you drive by bus, train or bicycle? Or do you walk?)

1. Hanging out with friends, playing video games, attending to “real life” (cleaning, errands, etc.)… pretty much the same as anyone else really!
2. Pretty much anything by Sofia Coppola (The Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation are two of my favorites ever) or Wes Anderson. Plenty of others too, of course.
3. I don’t read nearly as much now as I used to, so many of my favorite books are the series I read when I was younger (high school): His Dark Materials trilogy, the Ender books, that sort of thing. The one novel I have read in recent years though catapulted its way to the top of my list: Mark Z. Danielewski’s http://www.amazon.com/House-Leaves-Mark-Z-Danielewski/dp/0375420525/ref=tmm_hrd_title_1 Amazing book, though definitely a “love it or hate it” kind of read.
4. I drive an “electric red” 2003 BMW 330Ci convertible. So much fun. I used to take the Metro to work when I lived in D.C. though. It was slower (1.25hrs instead of 35 minutes) but I could read/play games on the way, unlike when I’m driving around the Beltway.

You're pretty Bruce?

He’s so pretty, oh so pretty...

To any BGS worker, 3 questions:

1. If you could have any armor set from the Elder Scrolls series along with the matching weapons, what would it be?

2. Would you guys ever want your own reality show at BGS?

3. Did you cry at the end of Return Of The King?

1. Some of the really cool stuff we have for Skyrim. (Lame answer I know, but I'm so psyched about the game right now.)
2. Lordy no. It would be incredibly boring for the viewers and incredibly annoying for us.
3. Which ending? :-)

3a. Not the first time. More recently, Sam carrying Frodo up the slopes of Mt. Doom... well... the room got pretty dusty. Pretty dusty indeed.

1. I know that psyched feeling. I'm praying that glass armor will make a come back.
2. I had a feeling you'd say something along those lines. Had to ask anyways.
3. When they were saying buy to Frodo just before he got on the Minnow.

3a. Sam was weak as hell. Where did he get the strength to carry frodo? Strong Potion of Strength.

Don't know if this has been asked yet, but what are your thoughts on Linux?

I'm just curious, because I just got done creating a partition on one of my drives for a Linux system just in case Windows somehow screws up big time in some way so I can have a backup. And mostly because just learning about the inns and outs of different OS's is sort of a hobby of mine.

Btw, I'm currently typing this on my Linux system. It's Arch Linux with 3 different desktop managers (Openbox, KDE, GNOME) and everything else that I need, and I have to say I love the freedom it's giving me so far. :user:

"Here we are at Bethesda HQ watching SJML work on one of the new Skyrim quests! This is going to be amazing! So let's see what he's doing now...

*camera zooms in shakily on his hands*

Yes, yes, SJML... is TYPING! And what's that he's typing...

*camera pans up to the screen showing huge pixels spelling out 'THE' before zooming out too far and blurring the text*

Dialogue! Yes! It says... no, wait... he's changed his mind... he's hitting backspace...

*camera quickly angles back down to SJML's finger holding down the backspace key*

Oh wait, now he's... yes... he's moving his hand to the mouse! What amazing thing are we going to see next, folks?! He's clicking... he's dragging! Yes, dragging!

*camera goes back to the screen and shakily focuses on a bucket being moved*

Exciting stuff here, folks! You're seeing it with your own eyes! Skyrim being made! Oh... wait... he just hit undo...

1) How often do you clean your keyboards/mice?

2) If you accidentally sneeze onto your monitor do you wipe it off with your sleeve/tissue or clean it properly?

3) Have you or someone you work with fallen asleep at the keyboard at the end of a long day?

Hi Bethesda!

I've got some questions about SKYRIM.

1. Are beards and tattoos confirmed?

2. Is SKYRIM awesome, if so, How awesome?

3. Don't spread the details, are kjait<(Whatever It's race called), Agrogians<(I'm positive that I got the spelling right?) and Orc's are looking awesome than the Oblivion version ones?

Off-topic question:If we the Fans, gave you a billion dollars, what would you do with It?

1. Yes, they are.

2. Mmm... obvious question with obvious answer. Yes. Your head will explode when you see the game.

3. They have said there is far more... uniqueness, in races.
