Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:23 am

Alright here we go...

First ty very very much for to share your awesome magic talents and for to give us a key to this awesome world , i would like to ask some questions mainly about some old games, and please excuse my english :turtle:

1.What do you guys think about Minsc and Boo?
2.Opinion about Blaldur's Gate Shadows of Amn?
3.Wich kind of games you guys like to play the most , i mean RPGs, FPS , RTS , etc
4.Any chance to find a space hamster in Skyrim (i kid i kid) :P
5.Do you guys like Shadow of the Collosus?
6.Any opinion on Demons Souls battle system?
7.If you could mix some games to make a game for your taste wich games would you choose?
8.Opinion on John Ronald Reuel Tolkien?

I understand if you guys are not alowed to answer the questions , or if they are just weird lol, but really ty very much for to share your work

3. i would have to say rpgs first, but I also play a ton of little big planet.
5. yes its awesome
6. I love it actually. Demon Souls is fantastic, and Dark Souls is my most anticipated title... after Skyrim

Do you game on PC, 360, or PS3?
What was your favorite DLC for Oblivion and/or Fallout 3?
Do you have a pet?
What do you feel like around news time? Are you exited to see it out there or nervous to see what people will think about it?
Can you look at and critique my portfolio? :P

[edit]Vsions: whats worse to model, hands or feet?

its between pc and ps3 first then 360. That order doesnt mean I think one is better than the other, reason my ps3 gets so much play at the moment is because of lbp2.

I have two cats, Katana and Jade. Workin on getting a dog too

I always get very excited to see what you guys think means alot to me.

show it to me i will check it out.

hmmm hands or feet that is a really good one. I would have to say hands though.

This question is specifically for the artists on your team: I myself am an artist.. not a very good one yet but I am workin on it.. I was wondering what sort of inspiration do you guys look for before doing your work? Do you love to listen to music while you work? If so what do you guys listen to? Do you watch movies and/or play video games in order to get inspiration? Do you get inspired from books? I know these are not the only ways to be inspired but I am just curious on a personal level what you guys do to get the creative ideas flowin'.

I get alot of inspiration from other artists. But yeah all those other sources you listed are also huge inspirations for me... I get some inspiration from the excitement that comes from forum at times

Oh, that's sick. You actually made your http://pixelrapture.com/?page_id=35. :goodjob:

like I always say, go hard or go home :gun:

1. Do you have to strickly work for one game company, or can you get a contract from a different game company while the previous game company is not developing a game?
2. In regards to saving your progress in the computer, have you ever done some work that you were finished with, but something went wrong and you had to do it all over agian?

1. one only if your an employee
2. yes.... but it does always come out better the second time..

Awesome stuff dude! Now I know what I have to beat so I can steal your job. It'll be awhile... heh. You plan on finishing up 'dem tutorials?

As a side note.. I've been asking someone to post up a link to their gallery site for awhile to no avail, but as soon as someone else asks... pshhaw.

Ha, thats the spirit you better come hard though it takes alot more than great art to um... "steal my job"
Saw your stuff too, you got some potential.

Hey devs! I was hoping one of ya cud give me advice in getting into the the video game industry. I'm just not sure where to start.

sure, start by trying to figure out exatly what in the industry you would enjoy doing and getting very good at it.

Man, I don't post for a few threads, and everyone just forgets about me. :-(

I didnt, your my favorite dev.

OK a few questions to probe your developing mind

1. Whats your roll on the skyrim project, and what are some of the things your roll governs or effects in the long haul?

2. What has been your favorite project to work on in your history as a dev?

3. Favorite superhero of any fictious comic/tv/movie etc. series?

4. Do you find time to reach out to the fans and other great dev teams and let them in a way help make decisions in your area of work on the games you help create?

5. Whats your favorite TES game to play and why? (you can say skyrim for the ppl with short attention spans and little intrest in the past... but you gotta push the detail of why)

1. I am a character artist. Im primarily responsible for all the races except the khajiit and argonians. Im also responsible for designing the character gen system and things related to that... among other things

2. Skyrim for sure. Its been a great honor and Im surrounded by some insanely talented and inspiring individuals.

3. hmmm gonna have to get back to you on that. Batman is pretty awesome though.
4. I try

I hope you guys have as good a time making this game as we hope to do playing it

We do. Its been a great experience

Ok, phew.....

Do you think it will be take the same amount of skill to mod for Skyrim as it took for Oblivion??

What types of programs/terms/skills should someone familiarize themselves with to get ready for working with the new creation kit?

Do any of you create mods after release or are you too burnt out from making the core game?

Finally and most importantly, can you tell what my avatar is from?

I'll always remember you, Sjammel.

Here is my question: What did you think when you first started working at Bethesda? Was it as deadly as I imagine it?

Is Christiane Meister responsible for both the Khajiits and the Argonians?

Also, vsions, the High Elves are my favourite race and I intend to make my first character an evil Altmer mage. Does the character gen system allow for the creation of some shifty-looking Altmer? :)

Alright! I always spend hours at the start of games setting up my character, and I am looking forward to endlessly faffing about with your new character creation tools! Tell Christiane that her Khajiit brought a tear to my eye, and your Orcs rocked hardcoe too! That dude looks gruesome.

Q: Will our Lady Dovahkiin have Man Hands? ;)

And I'd just like to say that I thought your bio on your site is done very well...they way you spoke about how you decided what you wanted to do in your teens and how your parents helped you find your direction. It should help a lot of young people who are trying to figure things out and maybe take the path you took too, vsions. Good job.

I'm out.

I was always impressed by TES Character Gen, Oblivions was hard to use, but facegen was in its early stages. Not many games have a Char Gen system let alone one extensive as Oblivions.

1.Seen any elves? :P
How are the elves coming along though? The dark elves in particular.

2.Is there any work you've had included in the final product of a game that you wished you could improve upon?

3.Do you guys work creatively as a team or do you go solo and then see what everyone thinks?

4.Do you guys get a break before moving on to a new game in the series or do you just start pumping out ideas for the next one.

5.did Todd slap Geoff keighly for asking stupid questions after the gametrailers interview?

6.Do any Canucks work at BGS?

7.Nvidea or AMD?

8.do you play alot of TES after release? Do you enjoy using mods?

9.who put together the trailer? They should know I almost cried. (I say almost because I don't want to admit I did. Oh wait....)

10.which of the 7 dwarves would you be?
