How many pranks does Nick pull on you? Has he ever pulled the same one twice? Did he get away with it?

Everyone else: what's the best prank you ever played?

Hmm office pranks, well I happen to play alot but now everyone is on to me and I get blamed now even if I didnt actually do anything. I can list a few

Tape covering the laser on the bottom of the mouse: This one was great at first because it took some people abit of time to figure out. The old reversing of the mouse buttons on windows works very nicely also. Simple but effective :)

I also take deep pleasure in sneaking up on people and scaring the crap out of them. The spasms of fear are great. I have been chased out of the studio on a couple of occasions. I also have to keep a mirror next to me so I can see people coming because Im a marked man now.

Another great one is when people leave their desks they pause their music. I simply unplug their headphones from their monitor speakers and put the volume on everything all the way up. I still leave the headphone jack partially plugged in so they cant tell its out but when they unpause their music and it blasts throughout the studio  gives me great satisfaction as they rush to turn their music down/off.... and sometimes they are listeining to some weird stuff.

I had a friend who used to work at Safeway's gas station right outside of the supermarket. They would play mean jokes on each other like setting up a string system from the inside of the bathroom door that would have the keys to the place tied to the end. The further you opened the door he lower the keys would drop towards the toilet that was left open. Another time they put tape on the coffee maker so it went everywhere (they got in trouble for that one). When I worked at a data entry place I would switch the mice around so that your neighbors would be using each other's.. that was fun.

Edit: time to create an easter egg secret whoopie cushion named jack for Skyrim now. Have it made with animal leather.

HAHAHA!!! These are great! :D If you guys have enclosed rooms then you could pull a prank that I recently pulled on one of my teachers. While he was out to lunch, I snuck into his room and filled it with as many balloons as I could in half an hour. He was so freaked out when he got back and had no idea it was me :whistling:

Hey, this is to any 3D Modelers, Animators,Designers here.

I just wanted to know how you got into Bethesda Game Studios or the industry itself, did any of you go straight from an arts college (or not go to one at all) or did you gain experience in other related industries(film?). Also, what programs do you guys use for your specific thingyness?

I've been sworn to secrecy on this, but you guys have been so great, I'm going to give away a big secret

I HAVE seen Dog Soldiers!

I was at the premier of this film all the cast lined up infront of the screen and talked about their role in the film/previous work. Twas great.

It was held in Odeon/newcastle/UK as the director was from the region and wanted to hold the world premier there. Also my friends grandmother won us the tickets to see the premier... The more you know.

Some of your pictures have trouble opening for me (It could just be my browser, it happens quite often with this sort of thing) but I got a good look at a few of them. I must say I'm jealous of your skills. I guess I have a new person that I must become better than...

If you're using Chrome, yea, its the browser. I don't know java well enough to figure out whats wrong, but it works fine on the others

Heh, I have plenty of people I have to become better than. I think striving to outdo each other is precisely what leads to improvement.

Also, what programs do you guys use for your specific thingyness?

I believe its 3DS Max and Zbrush for modeling and Photoshop for textures just about everywhere. The other alternative is Maya, and thats more of an animation industry standard I think.

Just have a random chair somewhere and have it issue a fart noise when you perform the sitting animation.

But now everyone is onto it. Darn!

Man, ... sorry (!) ... woman (?), those pictures are great art-work, imo !
Did you really make all this stuff by your own ?? - Almost unbelievable ! - Maybe Obviously you should do something for Skyrim, too ?! Bethesda here comes a new talent - watch out (and don't miss the opportunity) ! ;)

Edit: What's "Salome", by the way ?

Since he's developing Skyrim ? It's all a question of mood (and beer, and beards, and ...), I would guess. ;)

I have always considered "Paranoia" and "Whodunit?" to be among the most well written and enjoyable quests from any RPG I have ever played.

Is there anything you guys can share about how these Oblivion quests were developed, or who worked on them?

I hope we will continue to see this level of brilliant quest writing in Skyrim.
