This is to Todd Howard. Your work is thus far amazing. Whatever complaint some have had toward the games you have worked in and your co workers have worked in I applaud you and your team for your past and present work and I look forward to playing skyrim. I enjoy watching you in your interviews and I am a major fan of the Elder Scrolls and I shall continue to do such. Fallout was a big change but none the less I enjoyed the game. I sit on the edge of my seat however like the thousands of others and wait for the much anticipated Skyrim. I thank you for the work you and your team have done and hope that not only Skyrim but more future Elders games or others shall be released.

To Todd and his team

1. Were any of you afraid of dentists?
2. Do you play/have you played Stronghold, and do you think of Getting Stronghold 3? (Oh boy! Day and night cycles and no building grid for buildings and walls!)
3. How is the weather at the place yer working? It's pretty hot in here where I live!
4. Do you know what is Latvia? (Meh friend lives der!)
5. (This ISN'T Game related, just a question) If you could be a character from the TES Series (NOT counting Skyrim), who would you be?
6. Cookie Or Cake?
7. Do you think that the week should consist of 5 weekends and 2 weekdays or do you like it as it is?

The_ugly_guy_at_the_Store

What concepts and idea(s) were your favorite in Morrowind?

Morrowind was the game that turned my enthusiasm for games from 4/10 to 11/10 so I'm always curious as to what other people find so enthralling about it. I haven't even figured out all the reasons I like it, everytime I go back, I find something new to love.

This question is from the previous thread, sorry I did not answer sooner. I really enjoy high fantasy settings. I found the art especially conceptually to be very diverse and deep. It felt like everything had a history and depth to it. I also liked the fact that it felt darkas well as that whole ancient tech stuff it had going on in the concepts.
There were alot of fresh ideas so I still reffer to its concept art for inspiration

Have any of you ever worked on a game that you did not like? You dragged yourself to work everyday, and couldn't wait to just release it and be done? Have you and your team ever had to decide on something, and you wanted one thing, but they went another direction? Has this ever happened, where you completed dispised the decision that was made?

You guys only have to be as specific as that which will allow you to keep your jobs/heads, etc. :P

I worked on Bratz a few years ago :( not the most thrilling project but it was an important stepping stone

A questions for Vsions (repost from the old thread because it was locked shortly after posting it)

In the interview I read you worked on Dragon Age: Origins, which I loved so you get massive bonus points for that. What was your job there? Were you a character artists there as well? If I hear that you were responsible for the Alistair's awesomeness (one of the best video game characters ever IMO) then... then... I will give you my first virtual unborn! (I'm joking, I'm not that creepy :P)

I never worked at Bioware, I worked offsite on some armors and creatures for that title as a freelance artist. I did not contribute in any way to Alistairs awesomeness Im sorry to say, but I did have fun working on the other things I listed.

Do any of you particularly enjoy horror games? If so what is your favorite?

I relatively recently started getting into those types of games. I would have to say so far Deadspace has my vote

What is a game that you are currently playing? If you don't have time to play any games, then what is the last game you played?

Just beat the first portal and am moving on to the second one soon as psn is finally back.

That would be Jang Joon, and I help him out with it. He is very good and a great individual, he also handles combat animation. The group has gotten quite big now, I think we are like at 10-12 people now.

Some people do their best thinking in the WC or overnight. Is that true for any of you guys? :) Or perhaps you have another "zone" where you get your best ideas?

Devs: I have a question on the technical side. Maybe I should put this on the fan interview thread though?

I have a Logitech game controller hooked into a PC and it works fine with Fallout New Vegas. Will Skyrim support my game controller too? Thanks!

Random questions:

1. What was/is your favorite restaurant near SMU? *crossesfingersforcafebrazilresponse*

2. Since you say you were a film minor and me being an inspiring film major, how was your experience in film classes? i.e. where they challenging or fun?

3. Favorite book of all time?

1) Cafe Brazil is waaaay overrated. Plucker's is where it's at (wings and beer at 3am woot!). Snuffers had great cheese fries, and when 2 Rows was open they had great beer specials
Now I know why I'm fat...

2) I crammed a bunch in my last semester for the minor, and they were mostly history classes, but I took one production class. It was fun, but a lot of work

3) The Stand and/or Of Mice and Men

To any and all Beth Employees,
If i wanted to become a game designer/ concept artist for Bethesda, what steps would i take to get where you are now, and about how long will that take (as compared to how long it took for you)

And before working for bethesda, were you aiming to work for them or did it just happen as a job opportunity and you said yes to it?

If Mr. Howard told you for the next game, "You will be in charge and can make any type of game with no restrictions and unlimited resources," what would it be like?

Any fun plans for the summer besides working hard on Skyrim?

I agree with you about Snuffers cheese fries *drool* :twirl: ...and yeah it is pretty overrated but their pancakes it the spot after concerts.

Sweet! I really want to major in film and cinematography and maybe minor in history.

And great choices.

This may have been asked before but here goes:

Have any of you guys been following Kingdoms of Amalur? What do you think thus far?

I realize it has a few former Beth employees but it just doesn't look like its the same caliber as it's dev team.
