No, not at all.

I'm the kind of person who gets annoyed by walking around the same area for more than an hour trying to figure out how to get out.

I loved the more mental quests such as the nightmare quest for the Mage's Guild. I would definitely welcome more mentally challenging quests rather than just hacking and slashing through dozens of enemies.

It would be amazing if there was a dungeon that has been put under a spell so that the dungeon is constantly changing. And you have to traverse through this maze and figure out how to reverse the spell. I'm just spewing out ideas, but I definitely more maze/mental quests.

In Elder Scrolls 1, Skyrim had a dungeon called the Labrynthian. Sounds like a mega-maze kind of place. Maybe it'll reappear in this game.

Well, The http://www.imperial-library.info/content/labyrinthian is located in Skyrim, and is supposed to be a great maze. So, yes. :D

I'm really looking forward to going there if it's in. (I never got that far in Arena)

Ninja'd! :ninja:

To add a bit more to my post I love puzzles, riddles, mazes and all that jazz. Anything that challenges the mind is welcome in my book.

A Daggerfall dungeon? :P

It would be awesome if they could capture the feel of even a Mid-sized Daggerfall dungeon with today's graphics, lighting, character speed, and AI.

I'd also like to see one dungeon never get level-locked and have infinite massive proceedurally-generated levels using retextured elements from other dungeons, and randomly-created enemies, loading only as you approach the way to the next level or so. With multiple connections between levels, and not all levels being successive. (So, it's possible to go from, say, level 2 straight to level 5, and find the only passage to level 3, with no way to access that level on 2 or 4.)

It would be the greatest dungeon crawl ever, made better if there are wandering merchant NPCs stuck in it.

I do love mazes, I remember one Maze game I played a lot on Windows 95 when I was a kid, but I can't remember what it was called...maybe I'm just remembering that maze screensaver. I could watch that for hours, lol. I'm sure will be some maze-like dungeons, but I'm sure there will be some modders interested in doing something like that as well. By the way are there any good Oblivion / Morrowind mods with mazes? I guess I can go look.

^ Haha, Yeah I always get lost in Daggerfalls dungeons.

There was a maze somebody made located north of Cheydinhall somewhere. It was pretty fun...but had a few glitches in it, if I recall.

Not quite sure why but did anyone else think having a maze with clown music would just somehow work?

If there are mazes in the game, they need to have risks, rewards, and have to be unpredictable.

maybe some kind of monster thats difficult to kill that wanders around the maze? Minotaur king/master/lord ect. to add to the risk of it? like the nemesis guy from RE3?

I'm really not a fan of labyrinths, and less and less into "dungeon hopping" too actually, but if Labyrinthian was part of Arena - then go for it :D Even if I never played Arena, it could be cool if the layout of the maze was same as before (just with better graphics), sort of to honor those who did play it :)

Yeah something that makes you scared to look around the next corner. Creepy sounds go a long way. The sounds made by the skeletons in Daggerfall's dungeons scared the [censored] out of me.

Or you could just cast Mark at the entran- Oh wait. <_<

Seriously I would leave a trail of gold if they let us drop it again. If not, Dwemer Coins! (Those have to be back right? I mean, Dwemer ruins are coming back)

just had an awesome idea, what if the maze is made out of ice and the maze is filled with the Volkihar who don't have the same restrictions as you! :hubbahubba:

On your way back out you have to fight bandits/adventurers who picked up all of the loot you left as a trail. :P

Yes,I love mazes and I hope there is mega-maze in Skyrim. It would be much appreciated.RPG's are not all about going through a dungeon and just killing things.I like to use my brain more than that.I tend to prefer maze like dungeons filled with traps over dungeons filled with enemies.

In Elder Scrolls 1, Skyrim had a dungeon called the Labrynthian. Sounds like a mega-maze kind of place. Maybe it'll reappear in this game.

I did not know this, sounds a-maze-ing,I hope it will reappear, thanks for this info. :D

I like this idea, not only having to navigate through a huge difficult maze, but having some very high level monster lurking around aswell. That would create this feel of suspense and would make getting to the end of the maze much more satisfying.

Maybe you could leave objects to remember to way out.

If this so called "labrynthian" maze or something similar is in Skyrim then this is a must.A very smart idea indeed. ;)

One of the firs things I'm going to be doing with skyrim (after I beat the game, of course) is fire up the editor and make something exactly like a labyrith. With some sort of uber-minotaur in the center.

ice maze with a high level Volkihar would be very tense and satisfying to beat IMHO.

Immortal blood~Volkihar have an additional ability you didn't mention. They can reach through the ice
