**The Premise**
The location: Town of http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Megaton, Capital Wasteland.
Date: Year 2300 AD, roughly 23 years after the events of Fallout 3.
A passing wanderer defused the bomb in the center of town many years ago. Though the layout of the town remains the same, things have changed. Moriarty no longer owns the saloon and has disappeared. Gob the bartender takes care of it in his stead. Nova has not aged well, and thus is no longer in the same line of work. She has taken a fleet of younger, more fresh women to take her place. The town mayor and sheriff is no longer Lucas Simms, but his son Harden Simms. The Church of Atom still lives, though is considered just as inane as ever, however no one is to harm its followers. Maggie has grown to be a graceful woman in her own right and now helps her caretaker Billy Creel who's health is failing him. Sadly, Nathan and Manya Vargas are no longer among the living, but their memory is dearly cherished. Every now and then, a caravan comes to visit the entrance to the city which is still well protected by an elderly Stockholm and Deputy Weld, who's been delivering the same line to newcomers for more than a quarter century. Joining them in case of attack would be an old Jericho, along with the mercenary hired to protect a withered Moira Brown. The common rooms are still bustling, both with new faces and old, as the population of the town grows still.
Upcoming events of interest:
- Election for Mayor. The choice for Harden to follow his father is a shaky one.
- The search for Moriarty. He may not be dead, he is sure to reward whoever finds him.
- Abandoned house for sale. The house that was once occupied by a wanderer is up for sale. Who shall take it?
- Personel Wanted: People with skills are wanted all over town for various jobs. Who will fill the positions?
- The Church of Atom is to be dealt with somehow. Many people complain. What is the resolution to this?
- Raiders threaten to attack the city. Who will stop them? By what means? Or will they join them and watch the city crumble instead?
- Free houses. Though they may not be the best places to live in the world, they can comfortably fit a family. Is anyone willing?
- The chem trade is slowing down. Is anyone willing to take over the market and begin selling them once more? Or will they succumb to the pleasures it offers instead? Or perhaps they shall abolish the market completely.

2. Do not Uber. Meaning, do not do things that would seem otherwise impossible for your character. Similarly, do not create a character that is overly good at everything.
3. Do not control others' characters in any way, shape, or form. Even minutely. It is considered inappropriate roleplay etiquette.
4. No killing other characters, or causing permanent mutation to them, that includes administering any fatal blows, or dismemberment. Only if given permission by the other character OOC (Out of character) may you do so.
5. Combat is allowed.
6. Romance is allowed.
7. More than one character per person is allowed. (But do not abuse this rule. If I feel you are doing so, I shall not allow the next character applied by you.)
8. Child characters are allowed. (But please be very cautious whilst playing as one. Abide by any and all forum rules, meaning no suggestion of your character being harmed, either by you, or others. This is not recommended for newer users.)
9. Posts should be rich with detail, even if done so once per week.
11. You may leave the town as far as nearby locations such as Springvale Elementary and Super Duper Mart.
12. You may contort the map to your liking by adding buildings for your character and such, as long as it does not falling under ubering, and everyone else is okay with it.

Back-story: Carl grew up following his father everywhere, they spent all their time in the wastes, hunting down evil doers and collecting the bounty on their heads. Every second that wasn’t spent tracking a criminal was time that Carl was taught to shoot. Every plant the pair came across would be documented in the journal his father kept, they would scope out the plants and see whether the wildlife would eat from it, if so they would test it themselves, those safe to eat were documented as such, those that weren’t we’re used as poison or aesthetic. The pair went on living like this for years.
One day, a 17 year old Carl and his father reported back to the Regulator HQ to collect a bounty, they collected a sum of 150 caps and split the cost according to how many ‘notches’ they both had scored. Carl had four, so kept 80 caps. His father had killed three of the band of raiders, so collected the remaining 70 caps. Every visit back to RHQ was spent cleaning and maintaining their guns, telling stories of close encounters with raiders and slavers, and times they ate the wrong plant and spent three days purging their systems. Night after night Carl’s father collected a new bounty, he sat reading it while the two cooked Molerat meat or some other exquisite tasting animal. The nights were filled with stories and laughter. The two carried on like this for another three years, until his father, at the age of 50 was stung by a Radscorpion, on his deathbed he told Carl. “Son, don’t spend your life wandering like your father… Find a place, and dedicate your life to it. We can’t make the world a better place, but you can be that light in the darkness.” These were Ol’ Jones’s last words before the poison took him. The next two years of Carls life, were spent finding that place.

Backstory: Joey was born in the year 2273. He was raised in Rivet City until the age of 16 when he decided to go explore the wasteland. He set out one night and left a note to his parents stating," He was going to the air machine city", better known as Megaton. His journey was quite safe thanks to the Brotherhood of Steel patrols, and he reached Megaton in record time. In Megaton, he tried finding available jobs so he could make some caps. A lady named Rachel and quite young at the age of 15 and her father happened to need a guard for their caravan. Max applied and was given an old FN FAL. He fixed it right up and successfully made sure she reached her destination safely. After this job, she offered even more to him. After a year of working with her, their relationship grew stronger, and eventually when he was 19 and she was 18, their first child was born. They named him Max and eventually settled down in Megaton. Joey opened up a gun-shop with guns he found at an old police station armory. He found a sniper he used for hunting game and keeping raiders away. He also found a pistol for a concealment weapon. Also, military Desert Ranger armor and helmet was found in an abandoned truck parked near the station, so he started wearing it since it was warm and offered protection while he explored. One day when exploring an old factory, raiders captured him and slowly cut at his arms and used hot steel to burn at his face. BoS paladins luckily were in the area and killed the raiders before any serious damaged happened to Joey. However, scars were all over his face and arms. After 8 years of healing and medicine, his arms looked brand new. His face however was taking a little bit more time to do so. He decided to wear his scavenged helmet all the time in public, except with his family. He has thought about someday showing his closets friends, but that has yet to come.

Personality: "Doc" as everyone has come to call him is a low tempered, heavy drinking old coot. Doesn't have any room for manners and always speaks his mind. Though he shows no physical prowess, or combat capabilities he holds his own in a verbal argument as if he were the most feared man in the Wasteland. He does however have a soft side, and would be willing to help anyone in need. He would not show it though. His kind acts would be masked by bitter words and a begrudging attitude. Foul-mouthed and ill-mannered would be the best way to describe him in most cases. His idea of a perfect day would be one in which no patients show up, so he could sleep in through half the day, then spend the rest smoking, drinking, and flirting with women at the saloon before passing out in a drunken stupor. He speaks with a thick Scottish accent, and when he is drunk, he is utterly incomprehensible.
Skills: Expert doctor and scientist. Skilled repairman if required, though not the best. Can shoot to save his life, but no more. Though he may get into petty squabbles every now and then, he detests violence as it means more work for him.

Backstory: Chester was born and raised in Rivet City. Under the wing of the doctor and scientists there, he learned the tricks of the trade. He was once a very pleasant and mild-mannered man. Ambitious, and passionate about his goal of opening up a large hospital in the DC Ruins to which people would come from all corners of the Wasteland, as well as ghouls to be cured somehow. Sadly, this dream remained as nothing more than just that; a dream. Once of age, he married a lab assistant working with him whom he loved very much and several years later had a child with her. It was a girl. As the years passed, Chester realized that his plans would never come to fruition, so he grew vain and cynical. He took to drink and became violent with his family, to the point where his wife decided to leave him. He sorely regretted this, and hates himself for it. Alone, Chester moved out of the city to spare himself the shame, and thus moved to Megaton where he found a clinic ripe for the plucking. Having no other choice, they appointed him town doctor in exchange for accommodation and caps. If anyone so much as has a scraqe in the town, he is the one they go to. His prices are fair and just, as his only expenses are booze and women.

Backstory:Born into the BOS in 2276,He grew up in the citadel training as an intiate. His father died fighting the Enclave in 2277 and his mother died in a raider attack on a water caravan in 2281. He was raised by the rest of the BOS whom he viewed as family and eventually became a knight in 2296 . While patrolling the mall on his second mission his group was attacked by a behemoth. they killed it but he was badly crippled in the attack and now cannot run or walk fast. He was then chosen to represent the brotherhood in Megaton in 2300. His duties inclued Protecting the town,Recruting for the Brotherhood,Taking requests from Megaton to the brotherhood and organising supply shipments from the brotherhood. He lives in a rented room at moriartys saloon.

While patrolling the mall on his second mission his group was attacked by a behemoth. they killed it but he was badly crippled in the attack and now cannot run or walk fast. He was then chosen to represent the brotherhood in Megaton in 2300. His duties inclued Protecting the town,Recruting for the Brotherhood,Taking requests from Megaton to the brotherhood and organising supply shipments from the brotherhood. Silas has killed members of the Demons who reveal information about the business and has even killed his own brother, secretly of course, for revealing information.
Skills: Silas is an expert chemist; he’s spent years producing and distributing drugs to a variety of towns. He knows how to keep his gang on a low profile while still increasing their popularity and reputation. Silas seems to have a way with words but only with a few people, the majority of being woman. When it comes to combat Silas is above average, he can handle himself in a fist fight and is deadly with knives/guns.
Occupation: Leader of the Demons, the Demons activities include extortion, assassinations, roughing ups and theft but there main activity is producing and distributing drugs.
Backstory: Silas was born in Megaton, when he was only two years old his parents split, Silas’ mother took Silas to Rivet City and left Bill with Silas’ sister Lucy. Unfortunately Silas’ mother barely took care of Silas and spent most of her time getting drugged up and drunk, when Silas was six he started to learn how to take care of himself, he stole food and water from the market place for years, when he was eleven he left his mother’s home and lived in the lower levels of Rivet City by himself. He met several other kids; Silas became friends with the kids and formed the gang the Demons. The gang was nothing more than a posse of friends stealing things and beating up other kids but that all changed when the gang reached their late teens. Silas met a man named Charles Xavier, he offered Silas the job of distributing the drugs he made, Silas agreed but on one condition, Charles had to teach Silas how to make these drugs. Charles agreed and gave his first batch to the Demons, surprisingly the Demons turned out to be extremely talented at selling the drugs.
As the years went on the Demons got richer and richer and Silas became an expert at selling the drugs, but after Charles realized that Silas and the Demons were making more money than he ever had before Charles got jealous, murdered two Demons and fled Rivet City. Silas sent a few Demons to look for him but they never came back. Six months after the event Charles returned but with a gang of his own, Charles started pushing drugs out like no tomorrow and at a smaller price, this lead to Silas initiating war on the gang. A gunfight broke out in the Rivet City marketplace between the two gangs, many were killed but only gang members, a few bystanders were injured. While fleeing the scene Rivet City security ran straight into Silas and many members of the Demons, they immediately opened fire on the Demons, Silas and the Demons fought back and escaped Rivet City. Knowing they would never be allowed to return Silas and the Demons moved to Megaton to start up there criminal empire once again. Silas moved in with his father and set up business in his house.

Not leaving Megaton too much, she doesn't have much need for high caliber weapons. She carries a .32 pistol and a switchblade.
She often gets food deducted from her salary at both places of employment.
Personality: pleasant most of the time, mostly while working at Craterside Supply. Ari is standoffish, and rude at times. Though, when it comes to making caps, a seductive nature takes presidence.

During her time at Lamplight, Ari would fix up the weapons, structures, and barricades. As long as she was busy, Ari wasn't too scary. When the time came, as it always did, she was sent off to Big Town. Big Town was a big disappointment, a bunch of whiny ass people. Though, Ari did meet an old woman, Bittercup. They would talk about Bittercup's past, how she had even made a play for the infamous, Lone wanderer once. When Bittercup succumbed to the afterlife, Ari was left to listen to the residents whine. Though they complained, they rarely, if at all, did anything about it.
To occupy herself, Ari messed with the several incapacitated robots that lay about the town. She managed to salvage a protectron from spare parts of other robotic corpses. Satisfied with her accomplished, she celebrated that night. Ari ended up getting drunk on whiskey and breaking into Ol'Red's Clinic. She stole some Jet and Med-X, and got blew out of her mind. As she stumbled the street, she ranted, not holding anything back she verbally tore her home town a new one. In the early morning, Ari was found passed out between two decrepit houses. The towns folk concluded, from the needle marks in her arm, and the empty Jet inhaler clutched in her hand, that she did indeed break in and steal from Ol'Red. She was ousted from the town, never allowed to return, unless she wanted a bullet in her brain.
That was after spending five years in that dump, twenty three years old and homeless. She wandered with a caravaner named Mike for a short while, repairing things people presented to them. Ari did so for food and a tent, the protection, she had to give up her body for that. It wasn't all bad, she was never lonely. One day, they arrived at Megaton to do some trading with Miora Brown. Ari loved the ingenuity of using old, prewar aircraft husks for building materials. Mike found a couple of pistols of Miora's he was interested in, their condition was poor. Mike asked Ari to take a look at them, Miora offered up her workbench. Within a few minutes, Ari had both pistols working in satisfactory fashion. Miora, pleasantly surprised with the young woman's ability, offered her a job. Ari accepted.
Ari slept in the common house for the first few months while in Megaton. Usually taking a partner there with her for some extra caps. Miora offered her to stay with her at Cratersidean once she felt she could trust Ari. Ari jumped at the chance, and has lived there, helping the aged Miora for the last five years.
