My megaton armoury!

Post » Thu Sep 30, 2010 7:45 am

(Woo first post!) I have recently started work on turning my boring Megaton house into my own personal armoury, It is no yet done but i have a lot of stuff to put in there (bit of a hoarder) But what I was wondering is what have you done to your megaton house, have you just left it as a place to live or have you made it into something eles ie: an amoury or a museam (like my freind).

If so what does it look like?

Welcome to the forums. My current character, even at level 23ish, cannot afford anything except a workbench in his Megaton House. But earlier characters have done some serious decorating. Earlier characters have also killed Wadsworth. They all snapped at one point when Wadsworth, for the 800th time, knocked over one of their displays. The most extreme of my characters had a small intact garden gnome army, inside and outside on the ledge around the house, as well as recycling bins for cans and bottles out front.

My Megaton house for my evil character has most the dead bodies of everyone outside its house but than my good character has that pre-war feel to it with everything pre-war.

It's kinda like a different world inside my Megaton house that gives you a feeling like that fake place where you find your dad just less creepy and in color..

I have spend soo much time placing things in the house and moving them around, its crazy. But its kind of fun to do too. Alright lets get to it.

First i have the pre-war theme with the jukebox, infirmary, laboratory, workbench and the beautiful nuka-cola prestine machine (yes the cold drinks are to die for).
On the center table next to the tv i have Abe the action figure displayed proudly and somewhere in the corner i have stashed a lot of junk (like the huge damaged garden gnome i found in point outlook, some plungers and a lot of empty nuka bottles).
On the small table in front of the stair there is a chessboard (the combo looks pretty nice i have to say).

Moving on to the lockers..
Wait a sec, Wadsworth is mumbling about something..he is suggesting to look for medical attention as soon as possible..
never mind him..
The lockers:
One of the lockers contains all of the outfits, armors and pre-war clothing with hats and whatnot, i have collected so far.
The one in my bedroom has all the weapons i have found so far and the other one downstairs has all the useless stuff like the house: jukebox-ticket.

And at last the important bedroom..
As soon as you walk in you are being greeted by 2 buttercup toys (found in the spaceship) next to the desk. On the desk you see 3 pre-war books stacked onto each other. Next you see the BIG wasteland survival guide..not sure its fun to carry that big thing around every time you set foot in the wasteland. Then there are displayed; a fan, bottle of purified water, wine, my lump of brain, a bottle of Birch's sap and 3 or 4 of those beautiful Alien Crystals! These things are pretty awesome for decorating.

And finally...the bed!
theres a fishing pole lying next to it. Never used it, because fishing is boring (though it WAS kind of fun doing it in Animal Crossing wild world).
On the bed you see 20, maybe 25 lunchboxes.. I [censored] love these things :D
They are like lego blocks.. really fun to stack and stuff. And they look pretty cool too (i need MOAR!!) :)

alright Wadsworth is calling for dinner.
bye xD

I just keep all the food in the fridge, and everything else in my locker by the door. If I'm feeling really fancy, I might move the junk into another locker, keep the weapons in the first one.

About the only "moving stuff around" I do is to drag dead bodies onto a convenient pile of burning debris, giving them jedi funerals.

Ok then..... just went to buy the vault theme of Moria and she is laying on the floor with no legs :( BUT the weird thing is that the bodyguard has Moria's head instead of his........ Hmm *looks at nuka-cola quantum bottle*
