Megaton gate - disapearing follower

I've been having an odd bug since I re?nstalled Fallout 3 and a few mods a day ago. When I enter Megaton - either through the gate, or by fast-travelling - my followers spawn right next to me. Everything is fine. However when I exit Megaton through the gate, my followers seem to disapear from the gameworld and I have to use magic console powers to get them back. Exiting Megaton via fast-traveling to anywhere - say Sprinvale - spawn the followers next to me just fine.
Now the fast-travel is off course an easy patch to this issue, but I'd rather find the cure. Anyone got a clue what's causing this and how to fix it?

This happens to me as well. Everytime I leave Megaton with my current character Charon disappears until I call him to me or FT somewhere. If you have a modded follower chances are he/she has some kind of device you can use to call him/her to you, right? I just use that. Although it looks like, from your load order that you might have a whole troop of girls following you around so FTing might be the easier way to go. The gate/entrances in FO3 are funky anyway. I used to have problems with different entrances in different playthroughs even on my 360 and Charon would get lost coming out of Underworld or problems coming out of Paradise Falls, etc. I don't find it much more reliable with the PC (I play a lot with a very short load list) and although mods may exacerbate the issue, especially with the Megaton gate, I dunno if it's worth dumping one because of it. The only overlap you and I have in load order, that I have in this particular playthrough, while the Megaton gate is acting so badly, is Streetlights. But the Megaton gate has misbehaved for me before and I haven't been able to run Streetlights before because I haven't had this PC for that long.

Thanks; I guess that rules the possiblity that the problems is somewhere in a mod conflict out. I'll live with it, it isn't the biggest issue.

Glad I'm not the only one this is happening to. I've been using a Lucy West companion mod and she always disappears for about 10 minutes after I leave megaton. Where she goes and what she's doing is anyones guess. Kinda wierd and very annoying. I was thinking of dumping that mod, but it seems it's more of a game issue. Shucks!

I`ve had this too with all companion mods. they usually come running from somewhaere after 5-10 minutes.

I don`t think it`s the companion`s Mod fault at all, but some kind of conflict. Smetimes changing the load order (put your companion further down or higher up) might change this. Or if totally stuck, you must remember what was the last Mod you installed just before the problem started and remove or change its order in the list.

Edit: Oh I`ve noticed you have a lot of female companions- If they`re all with you then that could be causing the proble. I tend to only have two at the most; Amy (for trade) and the standard female (Brisa actually). More seems to cause a problem with how to place them out of Megaton.
