^Topic. If the CoC never existed, and the Amulet was stolen from the get-go, and Mehrunes Dagon succeeded in coming into Nirn with no Akatosh to stop him, what do you think would happen? I figure it would be just as Mankar says, Dagon ruling tyrannically as if it's his rightful plain. The people would live in fear, the Mythic Dawn would be made lieutenants and Dremora patrol every street. And also... la rèsistance... On a smaller note, why is Dagon even invading at all? Now, i had always remembered it as, and I can't remember my source on this, but I remembered it as Dagon got bored of his Daedra never truly dying when he "killed" them, cause they're reborn, and he wanted to rule a realm where if he killed someone, they would stay dead. A.K.A. Nirn. Again, I have no idea where that came from.

Dagon will not hold it for long, It is also very unlikely the Aedra will sit back and allow their creation pass to the Daedra

Anyway He would destroy parts of the previous Kalpa that he hid from Alduin, so that he can become a happy leaper demon king again, and not be cursed. While doing that he would likely be attacked from princes on all sides that don't agree with his idea of invading Nirn, would like to claim it for themselves, or just think it's fun to annoy Dagon.

Alternatively, I'd assume he would get into a mayor battle with Vivec, the Nerevarine, Divayth Fyr & the Psijic order (amongst others, depending on if they are still alive or not) which would see him lose anyway.
