I used to have no problem using melee to kill, but now I frequently have problems with melee not working in MP. I'll be shooting someone, they'll run towards me, and I'll attempt to give them a smack in the face for their troubles, but instead I get smacked 2-3 times while my character is doing nothing, despite me tapping the melee key a dozen times. Other times I'll run out of bullets, attempt to run in to finish the person off with a melee hit, but I run up and tap the melee key several times but nothing happens. I would have been better off just reloading and shooting them. It does work sometimes, but overall it has been very unreliable since the last patch. Has anyone else noticed a problem with melee recently?

Maybe your V key is broken?

I noticed not being able to melee in SP. I was beating the game against cloak enemies and was able to melee, then I died replayed the same part and was NOT able to melee. Maybe it's connected
