Melee tackles, throwdowns

Hi, I've been trying to figure out how exactly to do the tackles that happened some times in melee/unarmed combat.

examples can be seen https://youtu.be/v4LhMlkyAZg?t=5m54s, where a person is showing of the different melee finishers that can be triggered with the power attack button. However at the timestamp I have linked to he instead manages to tackle the enemy a lot instead.

I'm wondering if this is perhaps not random, we know from skyrim and oblivion and perhaps fallout 3 (can't remember) that adding directionality to the power attack adds a different characteristic like disarm or paralize or push down. I'm thinking in the video maybe he is accidentally applying a direction to his power attack and it executes a tackle.

what I'm wondering is if this applies to fallout 4, I'm not at home right now so I can't test it myself, but does anyone have experience with this?

It's also only seems to apply to 3rd person view. I haven't managed to tackle anyone in 1st person.

It is indeed exclusively a 3rd person thing "which makes, sense, be kinda disorienting to show in first person.

As for trigger like most other moves of this kind its a kill animation, ya about to deliver a killing blow it played animation like the one above instead of ya just killing them.

Ah okay, a pity, although I can understand it might have been more disorientating in 1st person, I don't play much in 3rd person, but it's mainly because there seems to be an animation when using a stimpak which abstructs movement, while stimpaking in 1st person can be done while moving away.
