[WIPz] Melisande's Menagerie

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 1:00 am

Hmmm... this might be not too popular among others, but Id LOVE to see more different wolf recolors! You know, like the

ones shown in comics and stories - pale, cream, different shades of black, brown, wolves with socks, spots, etc... That

would be SO awesome to drag along with you your own pack of bright, different wolves!.. Since I often even roleplay wolf

with Scripted Spells, different wolf recolors would be even more awesome...
But that's just my own personal dreams xD I will LOVE all creatures you make Westly, because every creature becomes a

diamond in your hands.))

This, I could easily do; alternatively, I would like to make a "kinder" appearing
wolf with a more naturally shaped triangular head and not in constant "snarl" .

I've always wanted a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire-lizard or seven, like

http://dragongurl.psystream.net/images/pernpics/firelizards.jpg

This is certainly doable, and would fit right in with some of the critters that I had plnned out already :) .

http://www.joelcarroll.com/art6/hooked.jpg would be really neat.

Those are terrifying and a little bit gross (perfect for malevolent-minded characters)

A Hellhound would be cool. Who doesn't love a giant, fire-breathing dog? :hehe:

This. too, is doable (adds to list)

Swans, Peacocks and Pheasants. :-)

I thought that there was a swan "floating" around in mods already (checks archives)...

I think a peacock inspired creature might be just the ticket (though perhaps not an actual peacock,
but a fantasy interpretation).

I have a suggestion for pets drawn from WoW experience: Basilisk, and Spectral Tiger. I would love a spectral tiger. :-)

The tiger is something that I can add as well (similar to how I made "Flit" in the OP ). I can add a bit of armour to one of the
cats that I have already, and WHAM-BAM! Instant Spectral Tiger :).

Fantastic input, everyone, as what you all are interested in inspires me all the more :).

So with that, there is even more to come; 'Til Later

I'm fond of anything reptilian. Maybe the marsh lizards that some Imperial scholars speculate Argonians are related to?

That'd be lovely for those of us who want nicer wolf companions instead of crazed vicious ones.

http://morromods.wiwiland.net/spip.php?article900 (wiwiland has the only version of this I see floating around unfortunately) might have swans, but I haven't checked it out. I think it's also included Kagz Morrow Eden mod which is on elricm.

Yay to kinder wolfies! :3 I always thought original Bloodmoon wolves was a bit too angry looking xD

Also, Im not sure if its even possible, but another idea - how about ferrets, stoats, weasels, etc?.. I bet they could make awesome pets, not sure about their battle compability tho...

Waterfowl and Morrow Eden are great mods, but the birds included are ducks, geese and ravens.

(Morrow Eden consists of a number of mods utilising Cait's animals, all of them made by Kagz - one of those is Waterfowl.)

Best,

Swiveller

P.S. - I'm glad you like the idea of including peacock-type creatures, Westly. :-)

Not really a creature, but one thing I would loooove to see is a hood mesh of some type retex'ed to look reptilian. I have always wanted my Argonian to have a cobra's hood. Something reminiscent http://farm1.static.flickr.com/66/201796636_d49e1be4b1.jpg?v=0. When you see that on an Argonian, you know he is mad.

Creature-wise more pets. An armored packrat for the discerning adventurer. Armored Durzog would make a killer bodyguard. Pack scorpion.

Birds are always welcome too.

Hmmm, I second on this one! Interesting idea! Cobra hood would be really cool looking for argonian mages!

I'd name him after the most powerful Kobold ever, Pun-Pun.

Well, I had lost a bit of modding mojo recently (I don't know why really, just felt
uninspired/unmotivated, I suppose); however, I am starting to pick up steam again :) .

This time, I have added a Better Body Harpy to the list :twirl: :

More to come (as I am brimming with ideas at this point; just need to stay focused
and get this mod finished so that all you nice people can use these critters in your own games :D ).

Take Care, All

Well, not exactly that hair (what with it being made of feathers), but the mesh is forthcoming
in a new (and massive) addition to the Master Headpack (which is why my replacer has been
taking so long; 8 races x 194 hairstyles x "X" hair colour choices = the end of my mouse clicking
hand as we know it  [not factoring in variations with ornamentation/crowns/for either six]).

 That was the sound of my jaw hitting the ground. Amazing Westly, absolutely amazing.
I wish that I could say more, but I can't think of anything right now.
