Memories

This is and continues to be Fantastic work, writing and content both! I have and will continue to follow the thread - I just wanted to toss in my thumbs-up on some some Awesome work! :goodjob:

You know instead of just making mods, I think you would be dynamite at developing some of the themes and stories behind them - your experiences give you a unique perspective that few of can imagine.

Keep up the good work! I've got a compilation of the posts in one single "Book" for ease of reading.

Cheers!

I come back a couple of days later to find half a dozen more chapters to catch up on.

Loved the Muppet!

You should just make new posts to add new chapters. It's easier to follow that way (especially for people like me who haven't been around much and rely on the 'new posts' button). Well, that and I'm just lazy.. have to go back a page to find new chapters.. pff! :P

@MalX
Here you go, more Danny :)

@hauteecole rider
meh.. it's a nickname.. I'm used to it by now.
Glad you're liking it :)

@Kikaimegami
I knoooow.. I'm an idiot.. I thought I would make use of the wasted space under a lot of my old reply posts.. So I'm scooting everything up.. and realised I can always carry over into another thread.. and just couldn't push myself towards putting it all back..
So, I'm pasting in three chapters for every new update I make here, like now, and hope to fill it up naturally. But I'll post clearly which chapters are where. :bigsmile:

+++ New Chapters at post #142, #146 and #150, page 8 +++

good luck with the gorilla from the chapter in post #150

Spoiler
"Shore is gov," And then, relentlessly, he continued. "Both buckets of snot on the Gordon an' Botch, Billy bunters droppin' their rock of ages onna Johnny Major. Meanwhile th' brass flutes seem to only chew th' fat wit' Woolly Woofters an' Terry Butcher, an' earlier a few Swiss-roles were Al Capooned on oats an' barley, right? So I led them to the Watford gap Betty Gable, an' they pulls out a sizeable monkey o' bugs bunnies from their sky rockets. Later on, couple o' pork an cheese, smellin' of Lillian Gish comes in, real typewriters, flexin their Jacks, straight away gets it on wit' some kitchen sinks, who pebble dashed 'em in the Alberts. Then this do as you likey, jimmy riddles all over the outer space, so eyes grabbed his insects and ants by the crumblin' walls and runabout, when the daft tit pulls out this big ol' lady from Bristol, waving it all 'bout my Chevy chase. Luckily for him a Penny rolls in and took over from Dover rover. Now, lessee, oh yeah, an' sailin' barge gots th' dibbs an dabs. Roll in the hay, How's th' carving knife?"

translated, because otherwise *everyone* will be mailing me with questions:
"Sure is sir," and continuing"Both sentry bots are on watch, punters dropping their wages on wagers. Meanwhile the prosttutes seem to only chat with poofters and gays, and earlier a few Poles were stoned on Charlie, right? So I led them to the crap table and they pulled a sizable wad of monies from their pocket. Later on, a couple of Portugese, smelling of fish, real fighters, flexing their muscles, get it on with some Asians, who bashed them in the balls. THen this Irish scumbag pees all over the place, so I grabbed him by the pants and balls and throw him out, when the daft idiot pulls a gun, waving it in front of me. Luckily a Marshal came by took him off my hands. Oh yeah, and Marge has the crabs. By the way, how's the wife."

Really interesting multiple personality scene!

:D like I said in the PM

'just listening to the story unfold in my head'

Glad you like it. Someday I'm dedicating a complete storyline to that oldtimer..

Anywho, even though post space is at a primium these day (I kin sees the bottom a-rising quickly, cap'tin!) any feed back is always welcome.. I'm just going to let this flow over into a new thread.

kudo's to anyone who's recognised the security team B)

My biggest worries are when I leave the relative safety of the wasteland and start having things happen on board the USS Minnow and the other ships. So when those scenes and chapters become too confusing, let me know, 'kay? :)

Andy

The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed - if not for the courage of her fearless crew the Minnow would be lost! (echo: the Minnow would be lost)
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle ..... etc.

First Mate: "What do we do Cap'n?"
Cap'n: "I don't know, it was only supposed to be a three hour tour, little buddy!"
Danny: "Where's Ginger?"

Well, before I dive into the usual task of editing, just to let you know, and everyone else as well, that I was holding off posting since I knew Andy wanted to get as much into this thread before it was locked at 200!!!

Wow...and to think I asked, one gazillion years ago, for a teeny cameo part in this absolutely rivetting mind blowing heart pounding story...

But then I forgot that Andy ole boy jest duzzint know the meaning of cameo...he only knows cammo... :D

Nope. Can't, you were part of the first draft of NPCs for the Mod so I might as well create as much character as possible while I can :D

Other 'cameos' will grow in importance as well, since the litter of pups that 3Dogg helped name are all roughly nine years old now.. well seasoned intelligent animals that Acky depends upon.

Anyway, closing this thread at 199 is next on my 'to do' list, and I thank everyone truly, for showing so much interest in this old farts ramblings and anecdotes from my assorted wastelands.
Without everyone here, Archie would never have had a voice.
Thanks everyone :hugs:
