Memory Allocation Error in Sudden Impact

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 6:37 pm

Everytime I try to start the mission Sudden Impact, after the loading screen the game crashes and I get an error message saying "memory allocation error ********* bytes failed". I've been playing crysis 2 since it's release with no issues whatsoever, and now out of nowhere one of the missions is literally unplayable, at least from the beginning. I'm not sure if this is because of patch 1.8, but I can't think of anything else I've changed recently. I should note that it ONLY happens when I try to play sudden impact, right after the movie and loading screen. I've found other people online with this issue but no solutions. Can anyone help me here? I'd love to get this fixed before the DX11 update is released.
I'm using windows 7 64-bit with 4GB RAM. I've been using the same setup since I got the game, without any issues until now.

No, I am using one gtx 480. Some guy said he fixed it by enabling page filing, but I have no idea what that is.
