Post » Mon Aug 31, 2009 4:23 pm

This Patch Fixed most of the issues all im experiencing is memory/ram usage. Slight Lag,nothing much. But Christ People need to stop complaining the game was just released! ur gonna experience issue with a game of the size. the xbox is just having issues trying to render and sort out all these files. the graphics are just too much. It depends also if your using the brand new SLIM Xbox. those are having major probs. memory usage, over heat, scratching. im using the xbox 60gb pro, im not having much of any problems.... REMEMBER DOWNLOAD GAME TO HDD!!!!

people are crying because, we payed 60$ for a game that we cant even finish(atleast i cant cause of the strip bug) shouldnt matter if it was just released or not, they should ship the game to us in good working order not this p.o.s.
you would be pissed too if your xbox froze everytime you went into the strip. i was fine with all the framerate drops and people spawing in hills but i cant even finish the main story

i payed 130$ i got collectors so yea i understand if i had those issues, it would be a waste of money. but something doesnt sound right. its ONE game. everyone has the same game, same files. it would be different if it was a MMO with the servers, that would cuase a imbalance of the game. but its a single player RPG. too me it sounds like HDD issue.

Actually My MISTAKE! Collectors has a Different layout! it has hidden features *which i wont spoil for others* but there extra missions from what i have read and theres a snowglobe search....

I haven't started complaining yet, because I know it is a huge game, but the reason I switched to console gaming was to not have to deal with "performance issues".

I always hated not knowing whether a new game would work on my PC setup or not... so eventually I just switched to console. And now it seems that developers can rely on the patch crutch to get games out in a semi-beta mode?

It is ridiculous.

I have been playing for 4 hours and a half, I Installed the game on my HDD and downloaded the Patch on the XBOX 360. I have a 20 GB old console, it's like 3 years old.

I just met the Legion and I haven't experienced any bug or glitch but that just me and I haven't reached the Strip so I can't tell if I'm bug free, but I disabled the 3 auto save options and the Cinematic kills.

I played Oblivion with all addons and Fallout 3 with all addons on my 360 and never experienced the number of crashes I experienced with New Vegas in the past 3 days. I haven't had this many crashes since I used to play games on PC, and even on PC with Morrowind, Daggerfall and Arena I don't remember experiencing anywhere near this many lockups/crashes. This game is not a great leap in tech beyond Fallout 3 and should not have been released in it's current condition. I'm on my 3rd 360, one with RROD and the second a bad elite that came screwed so I have quite a few hours in gaming on this platform and I never even had Live for updates until 2 years ago so to start I was running most games unpatched. This is just an example of incomplete play testing to meet a scheduled release date... there is no way they had 300 people play test this game and did not see any of the issues we are experiencing. If by some bizarre fluke they did actually have 300 people play testing that missed all these bugs, then they need to look at getting competent play testers.
