Memory Scrap Heap at Max Memory

So I've been playing with animating this boat and after getting a nif that works, swapped the reference by re-pointing the nif to it (the old mesh was already placed in game) and all seems okay, but loading up the nif in the external cell render window now crashes CK with the error, "Memory Scrap Heap at Max Memory" after trying to load up heaps of cells.

This is most likely telling me the nif is too big (crossing into too many cells) but the thing works very well in game, so is there a setting I can change allowing CK to accommodate for this.
