After reading the story of the Ansei http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Tamriel_Rebuilt/The_Memory_Stone I can't help but wonder does the memory stone actually record the memories of the person using it, or is it like a tape recorder used record ones thoughts? I realize the opening of the story says that its her thoughts, but what I'm more confused on is does it really record your thoughts as you think them? could you falsify a recording? or do they truly leach your memory.
