again sorry for the pic quality, i need to get a decent digital camera one of these days

I think in general, you need to find something with more shape to it that doesn't look like an old woman blanket or a wrapped towel. I think I could personally wear http://www.kiltednation.com/images/P/workman_black.jpg without feeling like a total fool.

Do you sit down to pee too? :P

Nah man whatever floats your boat I say.

If anything, it actually provides easier access, since y' don't have to unzip anything. Also reduces danger a little :P (again, due to the absence of zips).

Well....used to, you just work a long tunic, some underpants (maybe), and some sandals. Then we invented pants, and they just took over.

Egyptians, Romans (you gunna pick a fight with a legionary?), Greeks (someone who fights with a 20kg+ briastplate -that is, not including shield, bracers, greaves, weapon- doesn't fit the term'girly' terribly well), Tongans...

I've always thought that a non conformist conformed to the idea of the non conformed. Well that's just me. Yep, your answers are on that wall there.

It depends on what you call a non-conformist, really.

I think if you want to wear a "skirt" then go for it. Men in other cultures find wrap clothing comfortable as well.

Fallen life is too short to worry about what other people think about. The only people's opinions you should care about is your familys' and your close circle of friends. By the way, my stepmom has some really nice skirts from old navy. Check them out if you're looking for some. And if you want something really comfortable, go for a poodle skirt.

A few friends of mine have them and remark on how nice they are.

Kratos wears a skirt, and he is MANLY.

Personally, I like underwear and zippered pants/shorts; wrap clothes, skirts, and dresses are just too.... drafty. And not enough pockets.

EDIT: who knows, maybe I should give loincloths a chance.

I'm all for men in skirts. Hell, go commando under that thing, I've really found nothing better during a hot summer day (outside of being totally nvde, but thats not appropriate most of the time).

This, on the other hand, looks a bit like you wrapped a piece of cloth around you, and I'd probably give you a weird look too. I'd say invest in a man skirt kilt, and you're all set.

@Jim I would seek help if you have "insticts" telling you to remove people from society.

That's what my therapist said, right before I removed him.

Here, you are going to get a post-modern view. As in "it's totally alright. Screw everyone else."

So you won't hear much "Men wearing skirts are sick".

I'll go out and say I do not approve of men wearing skirts. It sickens me.

Sounds like a bad therapist if he told you to seek help, hes supposed to be the help...

The therapist was scared of jim.
Also, both of those pics make you, paladin, look like you're wearing a towel wrapped around you. A bright red towel. Find a kilt.

Edit: I can't spell tonight for some reason.

Well he just started screaming "HELP! HELP!" so I assumed he was advising me to seek a new therapist.

looks more like cloth than a towel, but yeah kilts will also avoid people thinking your weird.

@Jim so did the people he call for arrive... In a van, armed... with masks. A helicopter, maybe a guy with a microphone asking what you wanted ?

I say kilt since they just look better to me. Though they will still garner weird looks. Buddy of mine in highschool had people ask him if he lost a bet and heard teachers talking about "how much of a man lover"(their exact words.) he looked like in one.
