Men in skirts

Post » Fri May 07, 2010 11:00 am

I say kilt since they just look better to me. Though they will still garner weird looks. Buddy of mine in highschool had people ask him if he lost a bet and heard teachers talking about "how much of a man lover"(their exact words.) he looked like in one.

Well I hope those teachers lost thier jobs... They probabally could have if its considered bullying. Not to mention ignorant.

As far as I know one is dead, one broke her hand, one shattered his left leg, and the last four are doing just fine teaching school still.

Kilts are bad-ass, I'd wear one all the time if I was Scottisch, or Samuel Jackson.

@this probably is my name: You know it's funny, some guys in suits turned up at my house the day after asking questions about him, but they were quite easily removed.

Jim, you deeply disturb me. No offense intended. Please don't "remove" me!

Given your location, there are jokes I could make. But they'd probably be in poor taste, so I'll just let people choose their own :P.

I do find the various "only if it's a kilt" comments amusing, considering that I find it highly unlikely that these people, if it weren't for the stereotypical pattern and dangly thing in the front, would ever be able to tell the difference.

My face is locked in a state of intense thinking. My brow is lowered and my lips are scrunched up, hand stroking my shaved-chin. More on this after my two-cents.

I've worn "skirts" (if you can call a blanket/towel/whatever wrapped around one's waist such a thing). Fun and comfortable for lazy days, but most days I'm on the move and would rather wear pants. Hell, some lazy days are so lazy that I'd rather laze around in boxer-briefs carrying the blanket over my shoulder to cover up when I sit down or something.

Back to the face. This thread makes me ponder the question, "What is it about the year 2010 that caused all of BGSF's cross-dressers and various forms of cross-genderism and other related things begin to peek out of their hidey holes?"

Everybody is feeling a lot more adventurous. Wonder how this place will be a year from now.

Being a furry it might sound a little contradictory, but if we get more furries starting to crawl out of their hidey holes here too.... :sadvaultboy: ... :cryvaultboy:

I can see the love of being "unique" and then losing it.

I dunno. Being easier to remember? I barely recall any of the threads I looked at earlier in the day, I certainly have no idea which types were more or less common years ago.

Khorne and Nurgle? Ah, it's Warhammer stuff. What do they have to do with skirts, anyway?

Actually it's more because I've seen what they're like as an insider. I find it absurd that some furries can't see why people don't like furries when they (the furries) have seen what other furries are like on a closer level than the haters have.

I guess the only way I can describe it is that there is this one guy I don't like. Then I learned more about him, saw more what he acted like etc. and then disliked him even more. Furries are fun until you get the strange ones, the ones with... well lets not go there.

Well I'm sure we've never had as large a group of gender "funny" (Meaning different) people as we do now, it seems.

The year that I've been around I can agree that so far I've seen the largest diversity of that type of thing this year. And to your other statement, I most likely won't be around if that happens here.

Edit: Seti, warhammer has everything to do with skirts. If more warhammer characters wore skirts then it'd be the manliest geek game around.

It's your skirt, and you need it now!

or

It's your man-skirt, use it when you need it.

But seriously dude, if you want to wear it, wear it. No one's stopping you, live your life the way you want to.

Maybe I missed all these topics before but it seems like we used to have debates and real news topics and now we have topics about... manskirts....

Semi-related too but at the same time, the "more-accepting" vibe of the forum with the eccentric people, it still somehow feels less welcome. I might just be crazy.

It's probably just "Good 'Ol Days" syndrome...

Anyways... um..... Manskirts. Yeah back on topic.

It's not something one can really explain properly. People with an interest in anthropomorphic creatures is about as basic as it can get, I guess. Adding anything more might not encompass the whole fandom or might make us look even worse. :P

Fine, I did. Tried to bring a Great Unclean one, but ended up spawning 50 of the beasts and they started being too puppy-like. And, well, it's not good to have 50 very large puppies that are living disease around.

Khorne and Nurgle? Ah, it's Warhammer stuff. What do they have to do with skirts, anyway?

More for an anti-Slaanesh and Tzeentchian group to have around. Admit it, you like crazed beserkers around, and happy diseased filled cultists!

As a khornanite and someone whose has a best friend, and fraternity brother who is a furry, and I even went to a convention, I'll say this in Warhammer terms, there's too many Slaanesh cultists in the fandom.
