Or not. Really, this is -plenty- of awesome for reasonable people. Sadly, I am not reasonable.

I am a force to not be reasoned with!

Looks good, just a bit confused about the requirements for Operation Anchorage. Will try to learn more of the GECK using this incredible resource kit!

After numerous messages and a few weeks of messing around in 3dsmax, and the recent removal from NV Nexus because it contained illegal nifs, i have decided to revisit this resource and improve it. There will be two versions, one for FO3 and one for NV, the reason being unchanged meshes, even retextured, cannot be ported.

New nifs to expect:

- Galley pieces divided by levels, low, middle and top; allowing atrium builds of several levels.
- Halls pieces like a 4 way and doorway dividers, maybe even a stairway; this was a request.
- Floor grates small hall pieces to use with low ceiling 3way and 4way also fitted with grates; allowing to see whats going on on the other levels.
- Corner room pieces to join two wall ends together; this was a request. Theres one in NV but im making two new ones that will be legal for FO3.
- MAYBE elevator shafts with lifts that actually move; predetermined ranges of course. This one is still experimental and may not happen at all. I was inspired by the armory nif of New Vegas, which im making a clean working version, hopefully.

Thats pretty much it. If you think i forgot something or you have an idea about a vault piece, please dont be afraid to share, if i think its good enough, i will make it happen and everyone will be able to enjoy it.

looking forward to the NV re-release; I just found your mod today, I can't wait! It's really going to help me out with a vault mod I'm working on. Keep up the great work Meo!

Looks outstanding. Nicely presented too. I built something very similar recently, to create large vertical shafts between levels in a full-size vault. We are on the same wavelength it seems. Yours look much better than mine though.

Yes i saw on Nexus, its strange how two people can have the same idea and work on it at the same time. When i saw yours i thought, i didnt even think of using the pieces to make the atrium in a pyramid. Between the two of us, we should be able to complete the vault set, lol.

Yeah, quite strange. I actually started building a second set of pieces to make totally vertical atriums. The very same day I saw your pictures on this thread and realised you had already made exactly what I was working on. Currently though I am working through a big Hall section. I made a 4 way piece and several alternate doorway caps, but I had not even imagined how to go about adding Hall type stairs. I am really curious to see what you are coming up with.

Crap, you mean youve been working on something like http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x210/meo3000/FO3%20Vault-Tec/bhall01.jpg? Im no way near release, so i guess youre going to beat me to it with this one too. I make big packages, so it takes time.

I have to say, I am using both of your sets for my atrium living area in vault 64.

What I would like to see is, those 'bridge pieces' that angle around and incorporate a stairway that goes up to the next level above so I don't have to use a doorway with hall and stair pieces to get to the next level. The stairs from the ground floor up work really well but there is nothing for going further up.

I currently have a 5 story atrium with penthouses on the top, luxury apartments below, and small apartments at the bottom. The bottom will have a playground for the kids. And the end rooms will be classrooms, day care centers, recreation rooms, meeting rooms, theaters, etc...

WillieSea, you'll be happy to know that I've already made a version of the ground stairs for the floors, im also testing other concepts.

meo, yes, I am using that one already. :P

I would be happy to 'test' any pieces you have as well. If you need a tester. :)

Also, if you could make a version of the 'bridge' at the end walls without a roof and ceiling that would be great!
And a 3 and 4 way bridge middle section would be good too. Perhaps the upper set of stairs could go upward from one of these 'middle' sections of bridge since you have to go up two levels. Perhaps with a 'corner' bridge piece too?

Actually, err...yeah. At least I have a 4 way and some endpieces. Not the same as that two door way piece though. I just fit a normal vault door into an endpiece. And a normal vault door into an endcap. I also made a very simple slanted piece (just applied a shear transformation to a Hall) to make halls that can go between levels. I think that is as far as I want to go for Hall 'stairs'

However, I am just making all this for practical purposes. I am building a huge storage area and needed them to make it work for a vault of 1000 people. Not sure when I will release these, as currently there are just a handful of them. I'm sure you'll get yours out first. I just try to make it a habit to share everything I build for mods I make.

These Hall pieces are definitely few and far between. The more pieces you come up with the merry we'll all be!

And WillieSea, that Atrium looks epic!

I like the animated working fans. I actually put the static ones in my Solar Scorcher mod and scripted them to turn. I like the little details.
