None of the merchants gold replenishes anymore. Usually wait 24 hours and they have money to spend, now the have 0 gold. Not sure if this has anything to do with Liberate Skyrim quest. Anyone else getting this problem or know the cause?

EDIT: Kinda solved it. Just need to restart Skyrim and they have dosh again.

EDIT2: Nope still happening. Damn it.

Pretty sure that vendors take 2 days to replenish stock.

If you're impatient and can't sleep it off or hang out in a tavern for two days (use the wait command in other words)
you can always add gold on a case by case need to a specific vendors piggy bank.

I have done this on 2 occasions myself as I was weary of finding poor vendors and had a lot of things to dump off to the market.

open the console
select the vendor in question
enter this
additem f 1000 where, 1000 is 1000 gold pieces . You could add more or less but I'd nto go nuts as insane high values might

break something.

then the vendor will have 1000 spare gold in his bank.

The hex code in the game is just F no need for a bunch of leading zeros.

As of today I saw a mod on Nexus that claims to have options for various tweaks to total vendor gold if this
solution I posted is not to satisfaction.

as an afterthought. Did yoiu alter the timescale in your game to a very low number, say below 5?
If so, you probabliy broke something.
In my game timescale is set to 10 which makes the day go slower but not too slow. I understand values below 5 can lead to issues.

we had a mod in morrowind to have unlimited gold in merchants

in skyrim, I just travel to other big cities to sell my stuff if some merchant is empty but it's true that finding merchants who have enough gold to buy RARE items is hard
