Okay, this is *REALLY* weird.
I got a custom merchant working in the 1st floor of my castle, selling and buying smithing materials.
I have a Sage vendor (potions, books, etc) on the 2nd floor of the castle.
Here's where it gets really confusing for me
He is using pretty much a copy-pasted version of the merchant on the 1st floor, with another faction telling him to sell apothecary stuff, not blacksmith stuff, and other changes of that type.
In theory everything should be fine, except when I talk to him....he refuses to sell me anything.
And here's my issue:
The Sage vendor doesn't sell me *ANYTHING* on the 2nd floor, even though his chest in beneath his feet, and everything is in place (just like the Blacksmith on the 1st floor). But, when I move my Sage down to the 1st floor? He sells me things! Why is my merchant refusing to sell me things on the 2nd floor, but is letting me sell things on the 1st?
EDIT:
ALRIGHT now I am just lost. I moved him someplace else on the 1st floor and now he's back to refusing to open the buy/sell window with me. Just says hi, and that's it.
He only initiates a sale when he's near the blacksmith NPC.
But that's not right. Everything is different than the blacksmith. The merchant's faction says that his container is the chest beneath his feet, yet he's acting like the proper chest is under the blacksmith
