Merchant trader playstyle

Its a shame Beth didn't expand upon the trading aspect of Skyrim. For a game where you can be and do whatever you want, it severely neglected the concept of the merchant trade.

I would have loved to play as simple merchant trader, plying my wares across Tamriel/Skyrim, starting with a packmule and slowly building up to horse drawn caravan to sell/buy/trade across the land fending off rauaging beasts and marauding bandits.

I'll have to use my bartering nouse to determine which wares to sell for a tidy profit and when to cut my losses and take my business elsewhere. And on occasion having to deal with rival traders and greedy store owners.

Imagine a dedicated skill tree where Bartering, Speechcraft, Business Nous, Contacts/Network, Gem Appraisal, Commerce...etc come into play.

Yes, you would have to combine this with other skill trees to survive the lawless lands of Skyrim, or just do what the entrepreneurial Khajiits do... use your contacts and hire some hired swords to defend your caravan.

The list goes on.

Feel free to add your suggestion... maybe Beth will pick up on this
