Actually, when it comes to daedric princes, the whole thing is stretched in a thousand different directions.

As two people have already mentioned, soul contracts are not final (beside all the vampire not being destroyed stuff, I'll leave that for now) if one daedric prince has already claimed the selected soul. It doesn't make any sense if you really think about it.

I give up. I could debate all day, all week, all year and even through the whole gods forsaken decade but it would be pointless. At the end of the day it comes down to likelihood, hypotheses and opinions.

It is what it is. If you dont think it should fit with how you are playing, dont do it! I understand what you are saying...'cause and effect'. I see a lot of posts with 'flaws or bugs'. I just play the game and have fun and if the quest does not fit my character type, it just sits idle in the quest que.

Likelihood is the same as Probability. Hypothesis and opinions don't come into it.

There is no way for something to go forever without being destroyed eventually. A 'Hero" WILL rise and destroy the Vampire, or he'll get himself killed doing something stupid at some point in the future. Even if something that has a chance of destroying a vampire/liche/ageless being fails, there's always a Next Time, and a Next Time after that, throughout infinity. Eventually, his luck will run out.
