I never picked it up and now I have no idea where it was. Can you start this quest some other way? Im guessing no...

oh yea it worked lol, thanks ! she wants the beacon and she told me where it was. the info wasnt on uesp but this is excellent

I just found the beacon in a boss chest and the quest started for me. Of course, you could always just head to her shrine.

The info cannot be on the UESP as the beacon isn't always in the same place.

what I meant is that the quest description on uesp doesnt mention that you can start the quest by approaching the shrine if you havent picked up the beacon, bacon

I always find the bacon in Bleak Falls Barrow if I go there at level 6+

but now I keep falling to my death after completing it

actually I was wrong, it does mention it.. just my reading comprehension at fault

so any ideas on how I will stop falling to my death ?

Become aetherial, the shout or the command tgm if you are on pc.

I remember reading somewhere there if you step forward toward the light as you fall you sometimes survive.

It'd be insanely funny if I'd find Meridia's bacon.

I found two things on a web site, the first hopefully someone with a pc can make more sense of and put it better.

"open the console and hit "~" ( not quotes, just the squiggly line next to 1), this takes out collisions? and you can float back down, it says becareful as clipping can cause more problems. then go open console again " Hit the up arrow and enter". which will take it out of that mod.... if someone can put that better please do!

The other one says wait til noon and then walk up to the statue. IDK, that's just what it says.

For toggle collision, type "~" then TCL . Do it again to undo.

im on ps3. none of these suggestion worked. and I cant get out since the doors got locked. /slit wrist
