I am one of the unfortunate few who have no "quest beacon" for the Meridias Becon questline, and the clairvoyance spell gives me no guidance. Is this something that Bethesda will be addressing in a patch? Thanks!

Everything involved in this quest takes place in a relatively small geographical area. I don't know how you could get lost.

The problem is that sometimes there is no marker for finding the beacon which could be in a number of places around the map. This happened to me once; you have no idea where to go and there is no clue whatsoever.

I think that is the quest I just finished (I'll have to double check when I get home.). If you want, I can see where on my map it was that I got it and try to tell ya where to go, or maybe try googling it.

Unfortunately, I've tried googling it. If it doesn't show up as a quest marker, you're kind of screwed and it's location is just random. It's a known issue, I just didn't know if they were working on fixing it. I'm OK with most of the glitches/bugs I've found, but this one actually keeps me from completing a quest, which bothers me

My characters have all found it in different locations. One had the quest to find it which worked fine, the other two found the beacon first which triggered the quest.

Well i got meridia's quest when i ramdoly found her beacon in one chest at the final of a dungeon. In my 2 playthroughs i have found them in diferent dungeons.

Right, but when you get the quest, you're supposed to get a quest marker I'm assuming, correct? I've never found the item, and when I got the quest there is no quest marker.

Right, that's the bug. I've visited Meridia twice and got the quest, once I got the marker and once I didn't.
