MERP (MiddleEarth Roleplay Project) Thread XIX

Post » Mon Nov 22, 2010 11:47 pm

That's fantastic! The model is nice and the textures are perfect. Where did this come from? Did you make this? Thanks a ton!

I was curious if I could make it so I tried when I saw the request in one of the past threads. I lost interest though (in Oblivion in-general) and never finished it. Glad you like what there is of it.

It's a fine start and I'm sure I can finish it if nobody else on the team does. It's really almost done. The statue just needs to be textured and collision. Thanks again friend.

Hello MERP team. Here is a link to the WIP Amon Hen mesh/texture/blend. In the blend, be sure to view all the layers to find the different parts of the mesh such as the main building and the griffin statue. Best of luck.

Thanks,
Khugan

I can't download the file. I get "This file is currently set to private" when I enter the link :(

Yes, I've seen this link, but I can't get access to the file to place in the Falls of Rauros.

My apologies. I have set it back to public and will leave it that way. I assumed that all had it that needed it.

Thank you Khugan, I got it. It's really a good mesh for the pair.

There seems to be a missing .Blend or .nif in the achive. According to this pic, is this correct?

That was something I mocked up before I realized that it needed to be an actual seat. I originally thought the whole structure was known as the seat. I intended to make something more sit-able, but never did. I will try to find that blend if you want it.

EDIT:
Ok it is in the blend file I posted. I am not sure what layer it is on, but when I hit the ~ key, exposing all layers, it is there.

Very nice fitting of Minas Tirith, I was worried it would seem a bit misplaced (that's what I get for not trusting the MERP team)

Looks good, I was wondering when the next beta would come out.
Will this version include quests, or haven't you started on those yet?

The next beta should be out in two weeks. ;) It won't include quests, but new regions. The world is definitely taking shape now. Some pretty cool models too.

So were pushing the date back then? I guess we should announce that on ModDB then.

Here's the completion of the meshes Khugan. I'm sure that the textures will be improved on but, eh..
It didn't dawn on to me to make the Gryphon look as a statue :D oh well, NAU pointed that out.

Outstanding work Aoikani and thank you taking this the rest of the way. My gratitude. The original building structure was made pristine before I weathered it with the cracks and erosion. I never got to the weathering stage with the gryphon. Feel free to rip a head off or a beak. Or leave it as it is. It is yours now.

Thank you,
Khugan

It really needs a better modder to texture it though. I'm not good at texturing :D
