You are using this http://www.angrenost.cz/endor/obrazky/pelargir.jpg, right? It would be great if you would continue with it. I could use it as a base for Pelargir or even Linhir, add in a few models made by Mr.Siika for Minas Thirith and it should look great (and much better than if I would have to use only Anvil models)! Thanks! :)

Check the Main Quest topic on the dev forum. I posted a link to the main quest outline document as it is so far.

those models will be very useful! now we pretty much have all tilesets we need, thanks grey! :)

what comes for moria, we could always use more models for it.. i think simple but huge rocks would help alot; we can add walkways on the sides with vanilla models.

another inspiration could be the scene when gandalf brightens the light right when the fellowship enters moria..

Yeah, I am using that concept art, I used something else for the stoop, but it's mostly based off that concept. If you'd like me to make a bit more architecture from that concept I will. Right now however I've diverted my attention to another tileset.

I'd really love to do some modeling for Moria. I think we need a lot more models for Moria.

Please do, but there is no need to hurry: I'm still landscaping Lebennin and won't have much time to work on it for the next two weeks anyway.

As Ced(?) said, we have Mr. Siika doing Minas Tirith for us but we could use those models of yours for Lebennin (whatever the town is called again ^^). But really, you should join us at our dev forums, it's much easier. ;)

Any comments or recommendations before I begin texturing?

I think a broader audience will be able to give me feedback on these forums. I signed up on the dev forums though.

Awesome!

Meanwhile seeing as every stake of the palisade is actually modelled can you let us know what the tris count of the entire gate is? A little hard to tell the details without a wireframe.

On a side note, does anyone know if it's possible at all to have buildings cast shadows in oblivion?

I gave you DEV access there, so you can see everything that's going on if you like. ;)
I guess you can do however you want, though I tried to move the activity as much as possible to the DEV forums. Easier to organize there, and allows us to keep some things surprises... :)

The gate is nice, too.

Ok, I'll post it on the DEV forums as well. I'll talk to you next time before I post things here. Just get on Messenger so we can chat ;)

@Isilmeriel, Blender tells you the face count. Now true a face count is not necessarily a tri count, but it gives a good idea. Look at the screenshots I posted. At the top center it should say, "FA:3490" but here's a wireframe anyway. As you can see it's relatively low poly.

With the main quest outline I am now currently at the groups entrance into the Old Forest. I am basically transcribing the entire LotR books into an Oblivion programmable outline. Once each book is done I will go back and enter further dialog options and such. The most important part is getting all the dialog transcribed and figuring out how each stage will be triggered.

The last outline you uploaded, I plan on going through it and making some changes. Hope you don't mind ;)
