@GreyWizard: No problems posting pictures. It's just that I don't want DEV discussion here. ;)

I have horrible news. My computer crashed and I lost all my models. I'm trying to recover the files, but I might have to pay forty dollars for a program just to get my files back. God forsaken Ubuntu. :@ And here's the work I lost.

And of course all my Gondor stuff. I also did some variations of the Rohan house model but never had time to post screens before the disaster. Funny how it crashes two days before my six page history exam is due. :@

Information aint going anywhere, I'll recover it later. If I would have been a little more patient I wouldn't be paying to recover it. I could have just used a cross OS file browser and moved the files to windows. Anyway I'll start backing all my models up twice a day online and on a removable storage device.

Edit: Here's the post at made at the Dev site

I'll put all my models in this thread. I'll organize them by location since I plan mostly architecture. PLEASE give me concepts if you're able, I'm always looking for inspiration.

I know some of the models you did a while back, but are those Rohan houses new or did you not include them before?

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in awhile, been busy.

Anyways, anyone here remember Khugan? The guy that made the WIP Seeing Seat for us? Well I PMed him alittle while back asking for it and he replied back yesterday with this:

Sorry, I've been away and disinterested in OB. I will get the WIP stuff up-loaded some place asap! Again, I am sorry.

Khugan

I'll link him to this thread and hopefully he'll post a link to his uploaded work :)

Now i made an account here to show you my support and beg you to keep posting those nice eyecandies on this forum.
I wish you a lot of fun by creating this mod.

A little update on MERP: a banner creation contest. The winner will get to play the next release before anyone else! :gun:
Also, the next release is set for January 15th if we can make it. More information here:

It's not January 5th? It says January 5th on the dev forums.

Well, you are right. But since the whole point of the reward is to reward a fan, we'll have the public release a couple of weeks after the merge is distributed among the team.

Seeing as Jnor hasn't posted a link yet...

MERP Banner contest

DEV Forums thread[/url]
REQUIREMENTS
- Words that must appear on the banner: "MERP", "Middle-Earth RolePlaying", "mod" and "Oblivion". You can add some more but don't clutter it too much.
- Size must be reasonable, it's to be used on forums... No more than 125 pixels in height.
- All submissions must be made before January 1st.
- PNG format.
- You can use anything you want as a base, except of course copyrighted things.
REWARD
- Our gratitude and congratulations.
- If the winner is not a team-member, he'll get VIP access to our dev boards. That also means access to the future beta before anyone, which leads me to the second news.

The new beta will be released on the 15th of January unless an unforeseen event prevents us from doing that. What is new with MERP 0.2.4? Regions already released have been improved. New regions will also be added including the Blue Mountains (Ered Lindon), Arnor and the Brown Lands... There'll also be a working world map with map markers for fast travel! Of course, I'm not telling you everything. Some things are best left to surprise.

I look forward to your artistic work and I hope you'll like the new release. ;)

Jnor - Team leader

Hope to see your entries soon! :D

Banner submission.

Looks really great! :)

Also, I just wanted to say I'm officially back on the team mainly doing scripting and texture work. :D

Looking forward to helping flesh out some towns and villages! :)

And next team meeting we need to talk about how to get the word out about MERP, it seems most people still think MERP is dead :ahhh:

That may be because when you type "Middle-earth Oblivion Mod" into Google the first five sites to come up are AME, my old MERP moddb page, my old merp site, my old merp site again, and a download to a two year old beta. I've formatted everything I have had access to in order to redirect folks to the appropriate pages. Another reason might be that when you try to click the new Merp Moddb profile from a google search it's a dead link. Anyhow with some of those problems solved we should start to see an increase in traffic. It would also help if we could have better visual appeal on our dev forums and ModDB profile.

Hello MERP team. Here is a link to the WIP Amon Hen mesh/texture/blend. In the blend, be sure to view all the layers to find the different parts of the mesh such as the main building and the griffin statue. Best of luck.

Thanks,
