Quite a lot of work being done on Mesogea at the moment. I am just doing a couple of much needed interior house meshes for already available exteriors, doing a major interior, underground city, and a couple of surface locations. Working on the introductory quest and a couple of companions to assist with the quests.I will post some videos and screenies soon. Help always needed.

Wow man, amazing to see this thing still going! I remember when you first started out - assuring people that despite the massive under taking you would never give up. And here you are two (three??) years later chugging away. Inspiring stuff! Have a bump from me, just for that.

Best of luck with the project.

And back after a bit of a break. I have added a new city and will sort out a new release of the mod as soon as the first quests are programmed in!

I'm waiting for a reply from your web site for my registration so I thought I's post a wee note here to let you know I was
running round close to -35 -59 with some idea's in my head and found a quite long tear in the landscape seem and the water finish's quite close to
the land,. maybe not even a cell distance out,. I'm not complaining please don't get me wrong, I'm trying to help by letting you know what I found.
The esm I have has 3.2 on the end of the file name so that might be quite old. I would have posted on your fourm had I had access.

I don't have blender skills worth squot, but I'm happy to make stuff from the resources that are there allready and send you the esp's etc so you can deside
if, where etc you wish to use them

Spruz are taking their sweet time at sorting the password out. It might come down to moving the site to a new location entirely!

Just finished the video and will upload it asap. Its nothing special, just a couple of towns I have made, plus some creatures added from Waalx, with his kind permission. Basically Killer birds, natural environment stuff, insects, spiders, veloceraptors, sabre tooth tigers etc. I will upload asap.

New video added:

http://www.youtube.com/user/Valisarius#p/a/u/0/YIbdE3-PsEI

This shows the Harbour town of Deboran (Holorian; Corrus Duborium) that links with Kitiron, a harbour town on the north side of Etrura, a vast volcanic island of dense forest and jungle. A fleeting visit to the Temple of Deonna in the south of the Island gives a glimpse of a quest in the making. A daughter of the Governor of Kitiron has taken the annual pilgrimage to the Temple of Deonna and has been missing now for three days. The player may undertake the quest to find her and return her to Kitiron. Involves ship travel and quite an epic overland trek through an island that is almost entirely devoid of human habitation.

Thats great news Karithian! I'm just hoping that the CK has a region generator, because else we have a serious problem ...

Do you have any idea where you can get custom flora for Mesogea? We will need it as desparately as you

Not as yet, the CK is a massive sticking point at the moment and the nifs can barely be read. No plugin yet for Blender/Max/Maya or any of them, so really slow days ahead I'm afraid. As soon as something crops up I'll post it. I occasionally have a scout around to see what work is being done.

Well, things are kind of on hold at the moment. The great quandary presents itself, to continue in Oblivion or to port across to Skyrim. All will no doubt be decided when the Skyrim creation kit is available, then we will know if the game can handle a landmass the size of Mesogea.

Quick update. I am working on the new world map for Skyrim as the CK will be out in January. Im using L3DT a 3d mapping design program to create a similar sized map to the one now. Now is the time to get involved on the forum and start discussing the map and its content.

Well unfortunately Skyrim turned out to be of limited value and wholly incapable of hosting a large world. So its a return to Oblivion and a case of getting on with Mesogea and taking lessons learned from Skyrim to improve it. After a couple of months playing Skyrim I went back to Oblivion today and I actually prefer Oblivion, strangely.
