Metacritic review

Metacritic is an awful thing and the worst thing to ever happen to the gaming industry. No one should ever rate creative art on a numbers scale, it's insulting.

I would like to share my Metacritic review as well. The overall impression - a single player MMORPG. Flat and predictable storyline, boring unremarkable characters, uninspiring dialogs, repetitive unintriguing quests, dull combat mechanics. I could overlook technical flaws, if the game would be any bit exciting. Bethesda is choosing quantity over quality.

i made a thread on something like this, bethesdas just been recycling the same game for 6+ years now.

big world, stupid npcs, quests = offline mmo.

REALLY, REALLY need to start learning how to write storys and develop real characters.

and people should stop making excuses like, "well bioware makes linear RPGS thats why they can put time into character development and story writing"... Believe me, bethesda can too, they just choose not to because its easier.

It all comes down to opinion. I've been enjoying the storylines in the game so far, and I like a number of the NPCs. So. Deal. I wish they could serve everyone's tastes, but they can't.

This thread is wrong in so many ways, piracy talk, personal attacks, console bashing. It is not going any further as many of you seem to be unable to have a civil and constructive discussion.
