Methods of Tonal Manipulation of Aetherium

Abstract
The hyperaunic properties of Aetherium make it impossible to harness through conventional aetherial or alchemical extraction, and its tonal phase resistance prevents thermal alteration or morpholithic siphoning. However, through carefully controlled application of Padomaic material, the substance's static threshold can be overcome and the material can be tonally altered to ideally harmonic forms. The result possesses more aetherial specific potential for a given mass than any known substance, including all known variants of morpholith.

Introduction
The substance known as Aetherium, a crystalline, harmonically volatile mineral naturally occurring in and around deep subterranean levels, has long been known by students of tonal manipulation theory as a remarkable substance, albeit one lacking in utility. Its luminescence and aura indicated aetherial potential, but in its natural state is highly Anuic, possessing an extraordinarily high static threshold. Attempts to bypass this through conventional Padomaic alteration has resulted in invariable failure. No known contemporary method- be it Nordic, Draconic, Ayleid, or Old Falmer, proved sufficient to overcome Aetherium's properties.

Background
Aetherium possesses an Anuic Index Number of 18.81, the highest of any known substance. While there is some variance of properties depending on depth and region for Aetherium ore, it generally possesses an aetherial specific potential between... *text damaged* ...harmonic volatility, with a mean static threshold of 114.21 MT/SAC (MegaTones per Standard Arcane Charge). It appears to fall within an island of numeric resonance, and as a result its tested properties do not match the theoretical results calculated by Bthuark's Theorem. No application of Ayleidic, Draconic, or Old Falmer methods have proven viable in harnessing its potential.

... to this specific potential that despite the challenge, much research has been done both here and elsewhere as to harness the means to harness Aetherium.

Manipulation
It has been discovered that while Aetherium's properties are indeed insurmountable by conventional methods, the application of hyperpadomaic substance can negate its threshold. The proper application of Lorkhanic plasma has proven to lower its effective static threshold and overcome its phase resistance, thus making it possible to tonally and harmonically alter it. The window of manipulation is small: insufficient hyperpadomaic exposure will have no effect, yet excessive exposure will result in heavy release of aetherial potential. Optimal exposure levels vary depending on impurities and harmonic variance, but generally fall within...

Application
Due to its unique properties, coupled with its extraordinary aetherial specific potential, the potential applications are still being researched. As of the writing of this report, however, several specific applications have been discovered in the field of harmonic...

Conclusion
The methods for tonal manipulation of Aetherium are within both possibility and practicality, and possess substantial utility for the advancement of the Dwemer condition. Through joint efforts with Bthar-zel, Mzulft, and Raldbthar, efforts are underway to harness this rare material to its full potential. As of this report, Aetherium ore is being gathered by Falmer and Animunculus thralls to be conveyed...
