Metro 2033 is certainly more demanding than Crysis, and anymore lots of games set the bar above Crysis.

Crysis can still be tweaked to look better then any game currently out, so I think you could still consider Cryengine 2 Cutting edge.

Well, Crysis Warhead is still the best looking game I have ever seen. Ofcourse some games will have more detail in some aspects, but Crysis Warhead's has graphical and technical detail in almost every aspect. Not just a few things, but just about everything looks so freaking realistic.
The explosions are simply the best ! And so is almost everything else.
Crysis Warhead graphics at max are simply unsurpassed, especially with 16xQ AA.
And the effects themselves are just awesome !!!!

Metro 2033 i think has the most realistic "inside" levels @ the moment.
Espacioally the lights/ shadows are freakin awesome.
And of course the high res textures.

You cant compare it to Crysis 1.. because there only a few inside levels there, while Metro is mainly developed to look good on the insides.
The outdoor levels are not that stunning in Metro .

Cryengine 2 is the best for graphics, not sure on physics...

The games people say are better looking are mostly inside, so the game is less demanding, but with crysis 2 we will have the "Urban jungle" and smaller maps (And so on) so it will have a better fps while showing the same quality (As it doesn't have the same quantity) This also means that you can get the same fps as usually while getting WAY better graphics...

You can't compare Metro 2033 to Crysis, chalk and cheese. Metro is a fun game tho, just too dark! Didin't appear to press my card too much and Iv'e only got a gtx260
