RP: MeTropolis

Before the war, The great city was a metropolis un-like any other. Its luminous streets spanned hundreds of square miles, an illumination seen from deep space. Its buildings grew taller and taller as you made your way to the center of town, a journey that would take 3 days beeline drive by car. its architecture, a artistic master piece of the time, varied from district to district. it prided itself on having city parks larger than New-York's central, having a mall that was 6-times bigger than an All-American, and having the most intricate subway system ever created. THAT was before the war, in the good times....

Now the cities Mightiest towers have fallen, causing immense craters in the sprawling "downtown". its parks have turned into steaming jungles, so dense and dark, that Deathclaws themselves would fear there inhabitants. But despite all this within the MAMMOTH (1/4 the size of Texas) city a prosperous people have sprung. These people who call themselves "CITIZENS" live deep in the downtown of the city, near its center. they have taken shelter in the taller buildings, and even some of the leaning broken giants that still balance against other structures. they have learned to grow crops, raise herds of animals, and run old power generators, all in the upper stories of downtown. They have guns, a militia, and a language unique to them. Despite their great advances they are socially a tribal group and there right of passage is too descend to ground floor and head to the citadel (an old city center building with glass roof) to pay homage to their god. A statue of the original architect Who the "citizens refer to as Megamotroplis" as it is written at the base of the statue.

They face day to day struggles for survival, but make no mistake, the "citizens" are the single greatest chance humanity has at rebuilding.
Until now.
Until the outside world starts looking in.

You see.... outside the Immensely vast city the rest of the world is torn and reduced to a barren desert....
Small settlements have sprung up in areas out side the city, and some have been Successful.
Successful enough to waste time on a legal system
Successful enough to hold prisoners
Successful enough to look for a humane way to dispose of the dangerous ones.
And even successful enough to discover the old subway system underneath the city...

Before, no one would venture into the dense uncharted territory of the city, it was too dangerous, even with there working cars. And those who tried never returned

But now with the recent discovery of the subway system.. the elders finally had a place to send there dangerous incarcerated.
on a one way trip 120 miles toward the heart of the city.
Will the convicts meet the citizens?
Peace?
War?
Will the convicts even survive the first night?
Can the citizens survive the callous killing of the convicts?
YOU decide.

(p.s. the two groups dont no of each others exsctience in the begining)

My character sheet
CONVICT

Name: Ravin Vosl
Nickname: d?j? vu/ Hyde
Age: 26
Race: (Human/Caucasian/Male)

Hair Color: brown with slight blonde highlights almost making it look grey/green
Eye Color: Green

Physical Description: 6ft 4 225Lbs Very athletic, very muscular but not muscle bound. Wears simple black workpants and leather jacket with white undershirt when first delivered to the city. Wears a set of wire-rim glasses with perfectly round glass, the glass is tented purple and is his pride possession (does not have vision problem. His hair is half an 1/4 in long. Handsome features. Face appears kind and comforting, but this is only do to good looks, changes at drop of hat.

Weapons: whatever he picks up, he is knowledgeable with many forms firearms bombs knives and a few energy based weapons,(though are few in the city) and fights like an animal that can make cautious logical choices when needed.

Armor: whatever he can strap on that doesn't restrain his movement

Misc: A VERY proficient free-runner.

Personality: A highly scientific mind that wishes only to fulfill his primal instincts to the fullest. He considers himself "good" but his animalistic satisfaction comes before conventional morals. He has a love/hate relationship with scientists, as he has a love hate relation ship with his own intelligence. While he deeply respects the power of knowledge and knows certain fights/problems can only be solved that way, he resents having to use it, or the fact that sentieance even exists in humans. He talks very little, stating that "there's nothing important to say". This drastically changes, though when satisfying his instincts, using his voice as an outlet for his immense emotions of satisfaction. During this time his voice goes from the deep even tone to a nasally fast paced tone, witch would inspire laughter if it weren't for the context it was used. Despite all this, he is NOT bi-polar and resents being called so. He is always in control and when he satisfies his instincts it is not an act of "giving in" he makes the choice consciously with cognation. He is very humorous, sociable and a fun guy to be around to the few able to befriend and stay friends with him. (but few put up with his apparent Jekyll syndrome and other quirks)

History: Born highly intelligent with a better capability for logical reason than others, Ravin sought what most were to busy to look for in the wasteland, a meaning to his life. Born in a fairly secluded settlement he learned from every resource available, elders, left over books, passing traders, and performing his own experiments. He gained much knowledge, even rivaling the greatest minds of the pre-war. But he was not satisfied. He felt no purpose to his existence, till one night, when Ravin was 17 he woke from a dream. Moreover, the dream was a vision?.. For weeks Ravin would leave the settlements for days and return speaking nothing of his ventures in the wastes to his fellow settlers.. It was in these times of solitude he meditated on the dream he had. In the dream, he had met himself only older. His older self appeared deviant, wild, unclean, always covered in blood. In his meditative hallucinations Ravin would follow himself, watching what his older self would do. Gradually, taking note of the acts of his older self, he found purpose for his assistance. His only purpose was to be happy, and the only way to achieve happiness was too embrace and fulfill his most primal instincts. He began to detest his own formidable knowledge and wished to separate himself form it. He sought only power and would exercise and kill animals for sport, witch gave him an adrenaline rush, witch made him happy. His intelligence allowed him to recognize these acts would trigger adrenaline, and so he became "a calculating animal. All the time hiding it from fellow settlers. TILL one day, while meditating With his older "demon" he found that older ravin headed out to the settlement and snuck into a 14 year old girls tent. He watched with mixed feelings as his older self violently [censored] the girl. Ravin thought that it was all just a dream, and couldn't decide weather or not to stop his older self, as on the one hand what he was doing was wrong? but on the other he was satisfying his primal desire, fulfilling his purpose. Suddenly after the older Ravin had finished he turned around, broke the fourth wall speaking to Ravin for the first time saying "FEeeellsSS GGOOoodddDD? DOESN'T IT???" and disappeared. TO his horror Ravin discovered that he had been acting out his hallucination in real life. The villagers responded to the noise and put him down like an animal. He was imprisoned since, from ages 21-25 but was called upon when ever a knowledgeable person was needed to solve a problem.

Quirks: he must meditate "with his demon" for at least 2-5 minutes before he falls asleep, because of his misguided ethics he has become a self-centered humanitarian, as likely to save you as eat you, and he will have a perfectly reasonable reason for his animalistic act, if only reasonable to himself. He can constantly be caught in deep philosophical thought, wondering what is wrong with everybody else.

Reason for being imprisoned: the [censored] of underage girls in the settlement

Goals:survive and subdue the city into a from only he could love.

If I missed anything in the character sheet feel free to add it

Well this certainly sounds interesting, but also a little confusing. Mostly about the part of there being two threads. How is that going to work.

P.S. I find your character very odd in a good way. I too had trouble with a mental illness for a few years, though it cant compare to the madness your convict posseses.

i would have two threads titled

Metropoolis: Citizens
Metropolis: Convicts

you could have a character in both if you want, but the actions the players make in thier thread, say some realeased prisoners make there way to the citizens home and decide to attack by surprise at night (in the convict thread) i would write it in to the citizen thread of them being snuck up on weather they knew it or not.

im also going to edit the paragraph so its less confusing.... and get rid of some stuid "but loo-isms"
i admit this is my frist hosted RP but from what ive seen others do, its do-able.
