Thanks for the help Attentater5. AWE seems pretty cool, maybe a bit too many hunters hunters around megaton but other than that seems pretty cool.

Thanks for this Mez! :goodjob:

Really helped a lot as I just got FO3 back up and running. Planning on a heavily modded game.

Question though. I've been looking through a lot of posts(load order, etc...) and I keep seeing people using Project Beauty with FOOK2. You have it listed as incompatible?
I haven't gotten around to looking at them both in FO3Edit, so.....

Just do a search for +fook +beauty to see what I mean.

I'm trying to get a patch for FWE + Project Beauty pulled together. I'm also talking with the author trying to the compatiblity patches for project beauty covered under FOIP, which would make life easier for everyone as well. I'll keep you posted on it. For the time being, if you load BP before FWE + MMM you should be safe.

You have the wrong link for Wasteland Mastery. It points to Raygun Classic, which has no file to download at the moment.

Just wanted to pop in my support for this list and give my thanks!

Thank you for the time that you have taken to make this list. You have done an excellent job with helping to explain what each mod does so that people can fine exactly what they are looking for. I know this isn't an easy task, so again, many thanks for keeping up with it and constantly editing the list.

Thanks for the feedback!

Corrected a few problems with the list, including the bad Wasteland Mastery Link, updated the FWE-FOOK merger link (in the FOOK description) to point to the new location for the file, and fixed some minor typos.

:foodndrink:

EDIT: Added "Rude Awakening" the NPC section.

Thanks for the very comprehensive mod list!

I played "vanilla" FO3 when it came out. Played on Normal and then on Hard. Loved it. Never downloaded any mods. Never purchased any DLC's.

Back this past May I built a nice new PC; way better than the one I played vanilla FO3 on.

So... I just purchased the GOTY edition; and now I want to load this playthrough up with "tons" of mods (since I now have a PC that can hopefully "handle it" :liplick: )

I already had my eye on FWE as one of my "main"mods, so this thread is golden to me! I have downloaded quite a few of the mods here - and the best thing is having a great opinion of what will and will not run with your FWE. So, again, thank you!!

Next I am off to find mods that "upgrade" the textures. (Hopefully they are not incompatible with FWE).

Then I am off for a new, and much bigger, playthrough. :celebration:

Oh snap! I'm on a mod list! :D

This might just be that added boost I needed to get me modding again over my Christmas break.

Happy wandering!

Just going through F3 without any mods (except darns) and when I get through I'll be looking to mod the heck out of the game and play through again. I know I'll be referencing this thread many, many times, so my thanks to the OP!

Out of curiosity why does Project Beauty not work with FWE?

Pre-War Books + Titles | http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4318 | [Mez's Pick]
Another book perk related mod, which IS compatible with the mod listed above. This mod randomly replaces "pre-war" books randomly with 1 of 150 actual book titles (with covers too!) as well as occasionally replacing "ruined" books with a named pre-war book. New perks are given to you for either reading or destroying these books. Are you naughty or nice?

Me likey, should this one be loaded before or after the FWE .esps?

I'm the author of that mod and I've compared it to FWE using FO3Edit looking for conflicts. From what I can tell, FWE doesn't touch the vanilla prewar books, so my mod should function OK before or after. However, I think that either FWE or FOOK changes the "false" prewar books to Catspaw Magazine, whereas mine converts them to titled books. So if you want the full function of my mod, it should probably go after any FWE-FOOK stuff. But if you like Catspaw, you could load my mod first and both should be OK.

Thanks, I did just that.

Good job on the mod too, my character just found his first book - The Handmaid's Tale - and it just happens to be one of the books I'm reading now. What are the odds..
