Hi,

I'm new to both Morrowind and modding. I downloaded the MGE XE off the Morrowind Nexus using the Nexus download manager. Nothing seems to change when the game loads. It shows that the mod is loaded and active in the Nexus manager but the game looks the same. I know the description of the mod gives instructions on how to install it but I thought the mod manager would do that for me. I have installed about 20 mods in Skyrim using the mod manager and they all work just fine.

Any suggestions?

MGE XE is not a mod in the way you are thinking. It is a program. Go back to its readme. You'll see details there about installing and running it.

What JH2011 said - the download manager is not going to do this one for you as it's not a plugin, it's quite a complex process to set it up and you need to read the manual provided in the download and follow the instructions there.

It is well worth the effort of a bit of reading
