I recently returned to morrowind, and got reminded why i considered elder scrolls the best game series ever. I've aquired a new graphics card, and wanted use MGE 3.8 to make my game look up to date.
Basicly i clicked the "Best Quality" button, and installed Vurts Groundcover with the distant land function.
All worked fine. Then I tried to install Phals Sunshaft Shader. According to the readme i needed to check "Update Shader variables", "Hardware shader" and then "Supply shader with depth info". I couldn't find the last option, but i checked "!Supply HDR info to shaders" which I assumed did the same thing? I also added the "blank" texture in the texture folder, as recommended by Phal.
Now when i start the game with Sunshaft as the only shader, I get a black screen, but I can still hear the sound of the game in my speakers (introfilm and menu music).
When i try to start with bloom AND sunshaft at the same time, i get horrible lag - and no bloom nor sunrays.
I have a Radeon HD 5970 2 gb graphics card with 10.2 drivers.
Anyone know what the problem could be?
Thank you
EDIT: Found out that "Supply shader with depth info" and "Supply HDR info to shader" is two different things. The big question is then, where I find the "Supply Shader with depth info" option?
EDIT2: Apparently Truebloom g6_3 produces the same effect. Black screen.
