MGE Screenshot thread #4

How does everyone get their water to look so nice! When I enabled distant land my water didn't look so great. I saw in the wiki that it is not compatible with pixel shaded water, but it there some mod that makes the water look better?

If your card supports SM3.0 with texture fetch.

Simply, because i prefer the vanilla look and feel of this region over the one Vality created. :)

Without question Vality did a great job but i don't like how the 'pimped' Bitter Coast now stands out compared to the other regions. Besides there are quite a few aspects i actually don't like about this mod (size and shape of the tree leaves, the abrupt ending of the rain forest almost without any transition to the adjacent regions, etc.). For sure i'll give version 5 of his Bitter Coast Mod a try (if it will be released anytime in the future). The teaser screens already looked quite awesome.

Where are all of these places in Solstheim. I've looked at every part, and none of it is that beautiful. Are you using a fancified landscapes mod with the grass mod?

Just love the overall smooth feel of it and the gorgeous bokeh... The resized pics don't quite capture it, though. IMHO it already looks much, much better than my previous version - even the 'blurred hands' thing isn't annoying anymore - just because it looks so natural.
Still, some work still needs to be done on the edges of objects - but I've got a pretty good idea of what to do for that to be (almost) perfect too.

Vality, I never grow tired of your screenshots. Simply amazing! More often than not, I find myself wanting a new computer less for running new games on high settings, and more for running old games on heavily third party-modded settings. Simply breathtaking. My favorites are 02 and 10. If you would be so kind as to answer this question, could you tell me which custom MGE water shader that is? :drool:

Ive started using this and the waves addon too, and i have to say it looks sweet, although sometimes the waves stop moving and become a bit glitchy

Smooth looking, and very realistic, that blur effect looks like real unfocus eye blur in real life, with the circular effect, very cool. :)
