Don't remember VP looking that good. :)

It's not the old K one. It is a combined from different authors

From Morrowind 2009:
9. Obtain and add the major landscape textures packs (and install in this order):-

Morrowind Visual Pack v.3.0. Massive hi-res texture pack that incorporates/combines the old Khalazza MW Visual Pack 2.11, Khalazza MW Visual Pack 2.2 (Nature), and Quarl's Visual Pack XT.

Very nice. I like the contrast between the clear lines of the structure and the trees in the background.

Well, I am sure powerful sun light is a problem across the universe and time. B):) Just don't look at the sun with naked eye directly. :P

First I was trying to get the sparks out of HDR 2.

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2test2.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-Ashtrees1.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-ashtrees2.jpg

It was too powerful, but that wasn't hard to fix.

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2-glinttest1.jpg

I was trying to make a chromatic aberration shader. And decided to combine them.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatic_aberration

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2-glinttestwith-1.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2-glinttestwithchr.jpg

After some fixing I got what I need. As you see, it adapts to environment like a HDR shader.
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2Chromafinal.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2Chromafinal2.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2Chromafinal3.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2Chromafinal4.jpg
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-HDR2Chromafinal5.jpg

It is still a little bit too powerful, but it is tweakable. The reason why it is that powerful is I downloaded this mod.
http://firefly.calislahn.com/

But fireflies don't glow. The glow is very subtle. While tweaking them to spark, the shader became too powerful. I tried editing the textures but they just won't glow in the dark like mushrooms do. The mesh needs edit, I think. (If someone can glow map their tail mesh or better billboard it with glow, I will give cookies, can be cake too .)

And some other shots:

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2010/SparksandChroma/Morrowind-MGE-SSAOonlyininteriors.jpg (I flagged SSAO to work in interiors, it has problems with new fog algorithms.)

Good idea. I disabled SSAO reluctantly because I wasn't happy with the outdoor performance (byebye pretty shadowed grass) but I could probably use it in interiors where my FPS is still very high.

I'll add the flag, thanks for reminding me of that feature. :)

Indeed. I can live with losing a few FPS to SSAO, but the main reason I ended up disabling it was that I always ended up noticing the line along the ground at its maximum radius of effect and it broke immersion for me. Interior only sounds like a good solution for now :)

I really like it too. You should see it in motion...

I found SSAO pretty fast actually, the problem is sometimes my FPS goes below 16 without MGE. After that point, there is nothing to say. (Morrowind's performance is [ceeeeensoooorrreeeeeedddd]!!!!)

It really bothers me too, but it is less visible lately. And that line was always there, SSAO is a victim. :)

I may seem to like sun, but it is actually darkness what I dig.

The water is a WIP texture(normal map.) I have been trying for about a week and a half to get a somewhat realistic look to it and I don't think its quite there yet but I have another idea. :)
