Hello,
I've been using MGE for awhile, and I have come across what seems to be an irreconcilable problem.
First, some system spec:
Win7 64-bit, 8G RAM, Core i3-2100 CPU, AMD Radeon 6850 GPU.
So, after fiddling around with MGE settings for days, I was noticing that MGE was always setting my in-game draw-distance to very short distances when I used the "keep fps constant" setting. After additional fiddling, I figured out that if I set vwait to "immediate", I got a HUGE performance increase in game.
But, then I realized that in merchant barter windows, if I clicked and held the mouse button on the gold quantity up/down, it no longer rapidly increases/decreases the quantity of gold, but rather, changes the gold quantity by 1. Then I have to click AGAIN to increase or decrease by one more. Obviously, this is a terrible problem.
So, I set vwait back to 1, and the gold quantity change problem goes away.
Is there some way to get this fixed so that I can both have immediate vwait AND increase and decrease gold rapidly by holding the mouse button down?
I *may* not be running the latest MGE. The title bar in MGE says 3.8.0. Are there newer builds of MGE, and does a newer version fix this?
