Of Mice and Mudcrabs

:read: This is the Skyrim in-game book discussion thread! :read:

Does anyone else hope that we get a few hundred new books in Skyrim? I created libraries in Oblivion because I loved reading and collecting the books. I hope Skyrim has a ton more books to read, filled with new lore and exciting adventures.

What do you guys want to see? Discuss!

It seems that based from some of the people who played at the Euro event, a lot of books are returning from Oblivion. Whether or not they have the same exact text inside the books is still unknown. I hope it's different :/

Oh yeah. In fact, when cats are -done- mating... the female slaps the CRAP outta the male and storms off in a huff...

... not so different from humans, really.

I really enjoy bestiaries..I think Skyrim will indeed have tons of reading material. I'm not sure how others feel..But I really do enjoy the rare ones that give me a bonus for reading them! Always fun to find and read plus a bonus!

A lot of books from Oblivion returned from Morrowind. And a lot didn't.

I'm sure they'll have new stuff.

When I first got Oblivion (Yes I started with Oblivion) I was so confused as to why there were so many random books to read and what they were all for.

Now over the years I have found that they really do add to the game in a big way.

So yes, I would like to see the books make a nice return.

But, being in the home of the Nords... If they aren't as well read as the citizens of Cyrodiil were I'm not going to complain.

Yeup. It was The Real Berenziah: Vol II.

It was censored out by the Temple in Morrowind, right around the same time Bethesda apparently became prudish about nudity, too.

I loved Oblivions books, seems like the story effort was but more into them, than in the quests :) (which were still fun)

I wonder if we will get illustrated books like an atlas of sorts or a bestiary.

Nobody went into a single bookstore and playrhroughs were only 20 minutes. There's probably lots of new books and the College of Winterhold is said to be huge.
