Well, i suppose that is the closest we can get to the sci-fi holographic displays in the stupid real world

Pretty cool, but how does it work outside commercials? :hehe:

I watched the conference when they unveiled it. They had a live demonstration and it looks like it works well enough. About 6.30 they start the demo.

Three things:

1) If it requires me to wear glasses, I'm not interested.

2) Videos never, ever represent the product, obviously.

3) Especially if it's made by Microsoft.

Remember those videos from XBox One? I'm still waiting for that console and its features. :stare:

I'm excited for the concept, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they released some crappy product and got their ass handed to them when Glass comes back for round two in a few years...

Hopefully it'll be as successful as Kinect.

I actually don't. What exactly was that console that they advertised?

Either way, it is interesting but as others have said, I am more so curious if it will actually function properly as intended here.

This is essentially the next generation Heads Up Display (HUD). So, yes you have to wear glasses (or in this case a visor).

It'll be excellent to use to augment... uh hum... certain movies that you watch when you want to relieve some tension.
